There were already 2 spots free.
It would only make a difference if the club actually signed anyone.
If he goes there are only 17 senior outfield players.

as long as we can play the kids at half term when the schools are off not a problem. Why hasnt he gone before his wages are not excessive .

Thought it might have been a permanent move at this stage but still think it's a good move for him. Probably doesn't fancy slogging it out in the lower reaches of the Prem or at a Championship side and Celtic is a proper football club. He will be like Beckenbauer in his prime up there  ;D

From a financial point of view, it makes sense. His value isn't as high as it used to be. If he performs well in the SPL, we might get a decent fee out of him next year.

Good luck to the lad, he deserves to play week in week out.

I actually remember Nat being pretty solid with his passing and such.

The pressure on the ball playing for celtic is not the same as EPL. Apart from playing in Europe, different animal OBV.

I always thought Nat could start for loads of teams outside top 6 in EPL, so SPL should be a stroll.

Yep, Nat is actually pretty decent on the ball. Thing that stood out for me first time I saw him was his composure in possession. Kind of forget that now cos we've seen how much he likes a header, but he's actually ok with the ball at his feet. His problem for us is he's not the quickest and we play a high line.

Good signing for Celtic, quite likely they'll want to make it permanent at the end of the season. Good luck to him, never let us down.

For his own career hopefully he does well and gets a permanent move there.

      Yep.

Solid defender but for me never really at the level to truly make a career for himself with us

Was there with Williams when the club needed them.
Would like to see them at least get a career off the back of that.
Although Phillips probably would have got a better move at the end of that season if he'd left then.

      Agree mate.

He's a good player and deserves a good move.

Would he have been at the club when Brendan was here? Can't remember

He was an academy signing for Liverpool back in 2016.
I read a piece that said he was about to head on an American Scholarship
and had flights booked for the States before the academy switch.

Yes, compared to Konate and co, Natt is pretty slow. But those guys are very very fast. l o l

Unless we have a replacement, can't see how this is a good idea. We've a very small squad in comparison to other clubs as it is.
Nat coming in when we had huge injury problems was a big factor in us putting a run together and grabbing last minute CL qualification. Se we know he can do a job.
Maybe he really wants some 1st team football, that I can understand. But at this stage in the window just thought we need to be selfish.
But it's done now, so good luck to Nat, hope it goes well for him !!

Not going so great at celtic, getting a lot of stick. only playing the odd game as well.

I really hoped he would be a regular and show how good he can be. :(
