Bringing him into the team just for the hell of it, after 14 games out, right in the middle of a title run in, where consistency and momentum is critical, has to go down as one of Jürgen's worst errors of judgement this season. It does imo anyway.
The move has had no positive impact whatsoever. We have won just 1 of his last 5 league games, conceding 9 goals, and he was very lucky we have VAR available otherwise he would have conceded a penalty all by himself last week. Within 2 weeks, the long unbeaten home record went, followed swiftly by the long unbeaten away record across the road, and now the title challenge that Kelleher and the other defenders painstakingly created and maintained over the previous 2 months, is now in the bin.
There was once a time when he was genuinely the best keeper in the world. This season it would be a serious stretch to argue that he's the best keeper in Liverpool. Being No. 1 can be changed at a moment's notice. Being an also ran in a title race cannot.
