Great game from Curtis tonight. And a big goal. Keep it going son.

MOTM by some distance. Was very critical of him in the past but he's been our best midfielder lately. Si got it right - give him a run in the team after injury setbacks and he has proven his worth. How wrong I was.

Same here mate. I'm not going to say I was wrong yet. 6/12 months and beyond of performances ... consistancy and maybe then il start to think I was wrong about him being a fixture here for the long term. Be lovely to be wrong like ....

He's had a couple of good weeks. Keep going. He's certainly going to start at arsenal I think. Deserves to.

Whether you think he's talented or not good enough, ypu can't argue with how he's dealt with the influx of new players in head position. Kids dealt with competition wonderfully. Been great as of late

I am in the minority that don't think he started the game all that well, but he was much more impressive in the second half. And like someone said...you have to admire that he's kept working against all the incomings that are here to take his game time. Would love nothing more than to see a local lad make the step up and really kick on ala Trent.

Hard to believe this boy is 22....

I never bothered too much about whether Jones was ever going to become a superstar or not, because I always felt he could in any case become a valuable squad player, and was worth keeping around. Last season he had some great moments and this season seems to have stepped up his game even further. He's calm on the ball, skillful, rarely wastes possession, and is a running machine off the ball. Good attacking output and a great number of tackles for a midfielder, very much a Jürgen Klopp midfielder.

Such a good performance, a nice watch this.

Easily his best game for us so far.

He's been playing consistently well for nearly a year now. Becoming a very good player and deserved starter. When Endo comes back it'll be interesting to see who plays more in that left CM slot, Jones or Mac. Nice problem for Jürgen to have.

There is a lot more maturity in his play now; he is making better decisions and is fearless when he takes the ball forward. It's as though he just does not give a sh*t, but in a Scouse way 😃 Our most improved player for me along with Joe. It's a great feeling watching someone who has kept at it, and been coached well, eventually succeed.

Almost seems like he's been rooting around the attic,in the dark, looking for his 'brand' and has finally realised he's 'scene shifter', a prompter. A Hendo clone. And will occasionally stamp his authority but in reality he's a co star.

And every club bar none needs this type of player. Consistent, reliable, solid, engine room. You know what you get from Jones and more importantly he knows, and understands his role, and he is now a very important player.

Certainly improving, especially this season, hope he keeps on improving, becoming a key player in the side.

At this rate he is going to play himself into the England squad

Curtis should get in that squad but Southgate is way to cautious to change much now.

Hopefully injury not serious . Dom should be back for Wednesday or the FA cup game
