That first season he was superb, 2nd season when he looked like he couldn't be arsed not so good.

Starting as the 6 again.

Had everything physically both feet,quick and not seen many better as all round package but mentally not up to it

When does he get moved on…? Has a good game once every 6 months but is pretty dismal between… feel like because he’s a local lad he gets away with a lot, bit like Rashford for United… if he wasn’t local he’d have been kicked to the curb years ago…

No......because then the same would be said for Kelleher, Harvey, Quansah, Bradley etc & it's ironic I'm actually calling for Morton to play instead of him, but simpletons like you will believe what you want.

5 years of no progression, his time is up. It's clear to see this guy is not Liverpool standard, whether you like it or not.

Actually he was superb during the mid season last year when we went on a run to the point he was prob one of most in form English midfielders which is why he got called up the England squad - injury knocked him ball

Just proven it yourself, in 5 years his standout was a run of 5 games he played decent in… everything else is way below average unfortunately which is a shame because he’s a great character… but I do think it’s sentimental value that’s keeping him here.

I'd say it was Klopp. He was the reason Jones wasn't sold within those last 5 years.

Yeah Klopp was too nicey nice to everyone, which is fine but from time to time it wouldn’t hurt being honest with some of the players and letting them know where they stand.

Hopefully that changes with Arne.

I feel he may be the next guy that needs phasing out. It happens. Shankly phased out his guys. Paisley let players go.

I've never really rated Jonesy, but I like him. But I think we can do a lot better than him.

Klopp didn't have many faults but one of them, that could be a plus too at times, was that he was loyal to a fault... Jones has never impressed apart from that small run you mentioned.

I did find it baffling when Jones came out with those comments about Slot’s style suiting him more.

It was Klopp’s like for him that kept him at the club and he’ll be one moved on within the next 12 months for sure.

He played well in pre season and looked like a system that suited him until he got his knock

He has had 15 mins this season

If Slot didn’t see anything there then he would have gone in the summer

He's not sh*t. We've given him time and he is what he is. He hasn't really progressed like some thought he would and I think we've been more than fair with him. Time to explore options IMO
