I think if you can call your teammate a lazy or useless git and they take it without having a major sulk then that's really a sign of a great team ethic. I am really excited about this bunch of young men very proud of all of them

I completely forgot that Brewster had been given the no.24 shirt. Klopp must think a lot of him cosnidering other players like Jones and Camacho still have quite high numbers.

One thing I took from that video is that injuries are always thought of in a negative light - and that makes perfect sense - but there are occasions when two players being injured at the same time can be a positive. In this case it has provided Brewster with the opportunity to befriend a first-team player and has created an environment where they can motivate each other to recover quicker.

Alisson delayed playing guitar with Jamie Webster and Liverpool fans will love the reason why

Alisson Becker has put down his goalie gloves and picked up a guitar in a special video made by LFCTV.

The Brazilian No.1 appears alongside Liverpudlian musician Jamie Webster but the video had to be delayed from being made for what many Reds fans will see as a valiant reason.

Speaking to the ECHO, Webster revealed the reason production was delayed, he said: "We were going to do it originally a bit earlier on in the season. But he (Alisson) actually put it back because he wanted to establish himself a goalie first, which I think is brilliant anyway."

Croxteth-born Webster is a singer-songwriter who plays Liverpool fan chants at BOSS Night sessions, and was the voice behind 'Allez Allez Allez', for which Alisson provides vocals for in the video.

During the 17-minute video Alisson and Webster chat about about football, Liverpool, Roma, Brazil and music, Webster runs through some renditions of Virgil van Dijk's and Roberto Firmino's songs.

Webster said: "It's a chance for fans to see the players have got something else to them than what you see on a Saturday afternoon.

In the video Alisson makes an amazing promise to the singer-songwriter who works as an electrician when he isn't performing.

Alisson agreed that he would sing with Webster if Liverpool were to win the Premier League title.

Webster said: "If we win the league he might be getting up to play a gig at Boss Night."

The 26-year-old shot-stopper has been a solid addition to Jürgen Klopp's side after joining from Roma last summer.

Liverpool fans will be hoping Alisson's 15th clean sheet will be won against Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend, and that he will be singing with Webster in May.

      Quote from Frankly, Mr Shankly
Truly stellar performance. Warmed up nicely heading towards Spring and the business end of the season. Wonderful listening to the comforting commentary with big Jan Molby on LFC TV as well.

Indeed. For anyone else who missed it.
