I was thinking the exact same things during match day! I think Rafa did it on purpose ;)

I'm pretty sure too mate. Forever in our Hearts.

Perhaps, but we would have beaten them anyway.

Best way to completely neutralise Dele Alli and take away any impact he can have on a game? Do a Poch and play him in a holding role.

Cardiff are playing fairly well, Spurs have just been lucky that they scored 3 goals from their first 3 shots. Other than that they haven’t created anything, and one of them goals only happened because the ball was kicked into Kane by a defender and bounced into the net.

Think January's gonna F**k them up with intense matches against Chelsea in the league cup, and no Son to call on to.

For all of the ball Spurs had, the scoreline flattered them. They created 1 good chance in the 2nd half, probably would have been a goal if Son had let it run to Alli instead of taking it on himself.
Cardiff had a couple of great opportunities that they didn’t take in the 2nd half, both high balls into the box. But when clearances are kicked into a player, which then bounces into the net, you know it’s not going to be a good day at the office.
Was like watching United under Jose, Spurs were that boring and slow. Commentators were raving about them though.

I've no doubt United will turn over Newcastle. About Rafa, he's not getting the best from the players he can. He's not got the best to work with, but I find it impossible to believe there are 14 teams in the PL with better players than Newcastle. It's easy to see the players on paper, Newcastle have better players than 11-14th right now but they're 15th. If Burnley beat Huddersfield, then it's just Southampton between Newcastle and the drop zone. They haven't got quality in every area but below is better than most teams in bottom half.

      Lascalles
      Shelvey
      Rondon
      Diami
      Perez
      Yedlin
      Hayden
      Atsu

Rafa needs to turn this around. Hopefully he'll get backed in this window but regardless, Newcastle should be doing better.

Watford and Wolves are the opposite, how they are 8th and 9th with those players is amazing.

You could sense a goal coming from Utd tbh, they had a couple of chances where they should have scored, and it doesn't help with Newcastle looking a bit dodgy at the back :(

It would be the best thing ever if Newcastle beat them - I would be so happy.
