Dont be fooled into thinking they wouldn't score if Kompany didn't. The goal was the best thing for Leicester because they were playing themselves into nowhere and City were all over them.

Some goal for Kompany and hes sealed his reputation today as a winner and a man for an occasion, but if he didn't someone else would have.

Genuinely think this will be the toughest runners up I’ve experienced, across all the competitions. How the F**k do you get potentially 97 points, lose 3 less games and still not win the league?!

      This hurts.

      Gutted. Gutted. Gutted.
      That's it for me.
Leicester with more conviction could've done something.

But yet City got weaker this season. Last year they got over 100. 97 points will continue to not be enough as long as city keep getting 98+.

They've changed the landscape of the league with their financial doping. It's so difficult to see how we improve but when I look at them they can improve on today's goalscorer, their left back and right back.

They'll be stronger again next season and  we have to try and go with them again.

I dont see any other team to push them either. Its us in 2nd and them in front so if we dont stop them they'll be putting a run of 5 or 6 titles together from here on.

Agree with that. From when the 2nd half kicked off till Kompany scores, it was all City. Leicester just gave the ball back to City and never looked threatening.

Not trying to be bitter, but it does sicken me and feel a little unfair competing with City though. They’ve broken the rules and basically moved to eliminate any uncertainty from the game by getting 3 quality starting XI’s. Even when Abramovich came in it wasn’t as bad as this, every player is replaced by another quality player, it’s obscene and not realistic to compete against.

I still refuse to give in until there is no mathematical way we can’t win! They celebrated like they’d won the Prem, hopefully Brighton see that and feel slighted and we can beat Wolves! I don’t know if I can cope with tomorrow let alone Sunday, but this team have given me so many good times this season, we’re just unfortunate we are playing against a club that are funded by a corrupt country!

Some hit by Kompany. 95 pts v 94. Incredible season.

Think you could tell from the opening 10 minutes what the outcome was going to be.

It is obscene and has its roots set far away from the football pitch.

Shattered, devastated and completely inconsolable....how the F**k does that c**t smash it in from 30 yards? Hasn't scored all F***ing season and comes up with that sh*t!.

I swear either God hates us or we are cursed but I actually think it's both.

Those cu*ts don't deserve sh*t, can't believe those last 5 games of theirs, was certain they would drop at least a F***ing point but to win all 5 and pretty sure, they kept 5 clean sheets in those games is just fu**ed up.

      How's our F***ing luck? F***ing sh*t!

Yea, it's mad, think that's 13 F***ing wins for them, mental.   When you see Kompany hitting the top corner from 25 yards, the gig is close to up :(

Yep, that's it...in my heart, I know there is one more game but if City won all 5 of those tough last 5 games, then what chance have Brighton got of anything...no F***ing chance!

      1 loss all season. Just F***ing 1

What hurts is how close it is, how we kept matching City result for result, but them always finding a way of getting that 1 goal they needed every match.
It's also depressing to think this was our best chance until this City team have a big dip in form because no way do we get this amount of points next season whilst there's every chance City will. It must be the same feeling as Dortmund trying to overcome Bayern, a team with so much more resources.

Personally I don't get or feel the euphoria for the whole ' English football ' thing

Couldn't care less to be honest.. I'd prefer it to be just Liverpool
I don't honestly feel anything for international football or care that other teams do well.. I'd much prefer us against another European team

I agree it means that in both the top tier and the second tier of European Cup football there is English domination, from a Brexit perspective I quite like that ;-)

That explain some of it mate.  ;D It's great in the fact it attracts the best players to the English clubs just like it does being in the CL. All to often the Spanish generally dominate on that front. It's a refreshing change in my opinion.

Your comments surprise me Kopite, thought you'd have similar thoughts. Obviously I understand your comments about it being just Liverpool but as a whole it's great for the top teams in Premier league, even United  ;D and before you say we're sh*t (( not top 4  :D )) I know that but means top players will still come. We just need a top manager.  :f_doh:

But why would I want the rest of the teams attracting good players?

I'm probably selfish but I don't care about anyone else but Liverpool

That's obvious  :D Selfish no, just biased and only want Liverpool to have the best. Nothing wrong with that except it becomes boring for the rest  ;D
