For all the brilliance we've seen today, silky technique and all that, it never fails to amaze me to say that Milner has been the best player on the pitch. He's been superb - 16 years in the Premier League and he's never looked better!

I've been a fan for so long I just love to have him at LFC.

Oh my god, Pellegrini got it so completely wrong... he chose pretty much the worst possible way to stop our attacking trio - with a defensive trio trying to play a high line and leave our players offside... sure, it seemed to work on a couple of occasions, but there was no way on earth it would work for the whole match. Look at our 2nd goal, their entire backline goes up hoping to leave our players offside, and Mané is all alone with nowhere even near him to score. Haha. Brilliant. If they keep it up like that, we could easily score 4 or 5. Superb first game so far. Naby Keita looks great, as does Sadio Mané - such a brilliant player.

We even look a bit rusty but still tearing them apart. They’re all over the place.
