So much to celebrate today and that team looks so much stronger than last season and look how close they went. Still so much to come and plenty of depth to come .

F***ing do for me that ,fantastic performance by all,the hammer s never got a sniff really.

Talk about sending a message. That was 4-0 and in all honesty we didn’t get out of 3rd gear. Milner and Mane brilliant but tipped Naby for motm, what a performance.

Opening day of the season has, for as long as I recall, been one of slim victory at best and sheer disappointment at worst. Not this one. Comfortable - didn't really have to break sweat. Controlled throughout. Thought West Ham would offer a lot more given the talent on the field for them this afternoon but in fairness - we never gave them the chance, we were that in control.

Much easier than I thought. Pellegrini's tactics were chronic. Also playing so many new signings first go was daft and it's a long time since I've seen such a lacklustre lazy second half display...they just couldn't be bothered...disgrace..the fans that travelled should demand a refund.

For us Milner & Mane share MOTM. Naby looked sharpe as did the front 6 but we won't have it that easy for a long time.

Why would a take down be needed to stop an 11 year old? Problem is what  that kid could do on the pitch. Would you prefer a top story like,  "Security lets 11 year old man u fan on the pitch, fly kicks Liverpool player in the knee and could be out of action for blah blah important upcoming game". Security needs to be looked at. It's unlikely to happen but the risks cannot be ignored. Low risk but high impact is still a risk. I've done risk assessments before in software development, Liverpool board will be looking at this in detail. Pitch invader is something on risk assessment tables at football clubs.
