The football’s back, the football that truly matters, that is! What a way to start, we didn’t really need to stretch ourselves and we looked invincible! A much stronger bench than in the past, absolutely over the moon with that display and the togetherness of the squad!

Why would a take down be needed to stop an 11 year old? Problem is what  that kid could do on the pitch. Would you prefer a top story like,  "Security lets 11 year old man u fan on the pitch, fly kicks Liverpool player in the knee and could be out of action for blah blah important upcoming game". Security needs to be looked at.

Perfect start, 4 goals, clean sheet :)
WH parked the bus for the first while, but once we scored, was hard to see them do anything.
Ref was involved in one of their best moves, winning the ball off Gini, then Marko was put in for a chance. Even with 12 vs 11 didn't look like we'd be in any trouble.
Milner probably my shout for MOTM too, for me just about pipped Mane, who thought was the best of the front 3, and Robbo who again was really good - has anyone said before what a good buy he was ;)
Keita looked good, needs time to settle, nice little pass to Robbo for 1st goal cross - and nice to see Hendo get some time, and Shaquiri looked full of beans when he came on too.
And a goal for Studge, nice to see - looks slimmed down - hope for him he can stay fit.
Allison had nothing to do really, nice with ball at feet, but will be other games when we see him earn his corn.
All in all, super start. WH weren't great, but we didn't let them do anything.
      Well in Jürgen!!!!

this time yes, but we can't be sure every pitch invader is innocent. That's why Liverpool will be looking at security.

Much easier as I have admitted...in fact we only just about let the handbrake off...Pellegrini should be thankful that Jürgen didn't let Shaq off the leash 15 minutes earlier.

Good decision by Jürgen to keep him. Could've sold him 10 times over. Danny knows this is his last chance here and he looks like he will take his last chance and make a telling contribution.

I voted Keita for MOTM. It was him or Mane for me.

I can see the argument for Milner tho.

A fit Danny has to be worth £30 mil to the club
Worth a few extra points more like and maybe the difference needed to get our hands on silverware.

Thought it was a fantastic debut from Naby. Wanted to be on the ball all game!

Nice for Studge to get that goal!

Shaqiri is a tank and wanted to be on the ball the same as Naby.

      Great start to the season!!

Can’t believe we need to wait 8 days to watch the reds again. This game has only served to make me want more, like an appetiser in lieu of a feast.

Guess we’ll need to settle for watching this season’s runners up against Arsenal.

I will be watching the full match a few more times :D

A joy to watch and unbelievably can only get better, MOTM is a tough one but it's got to be Milner, the lad just doesn't give up.
Was that the first touch for Studge when he slotted the goal?

To be honest I thought West Ham would offer a bit more. Or is it just that we are soooooo good 😁
