Second half was a little bit patchy.  Having said that, Mo Salah should have scored about four.  An off night for him.

Mane started the season very well, Alisson dealt with everything at him but I think Keita is an absolute beast.

Not concerned about Salah missing a few, as long as he is still looking for the ball...and he had his arm up looking for a cross as he had a great header just touched over...full of running as well...so missed a few but still played well..

Such a relief to get those 3 points today. A really tough game, and we didn't have the quality when we needed it.

That said, what a great goal from Mane. Showed Salah how to do it there. Composed despite the challenges coming his way. Perhaps this will be his year? Salah looks like he's struggling with the pressure. He's the new Suarez. The opposing fans boo him and hassle him, and the expectations are high.

Bit disappointed with Klopp's tactical changes today though. His weakness in his Firmino-love-in is still evident and it could have been our undoing. The Sturridge change should have been done ages ago, and if Crystal Palace had grabbed an equaliser, it could have been too late.

This was a tough game - but we have the points!

Why is Klopp over working Firmino? He could have changed him 15 minutes ago at last.

The reason why we were after Fekir. Studge or Solanke dont have that work rate and the trickery to keep their midfield occupied. Fekir was seen as someone who would have taken turns with Bobby for this role and versatile enough to play other attacking positions. (Ok, no more Fekir talk)

We will see Firmino playing the proper false 9 this season, trying to keep the opponent's last midfielder busy, and Mo & Mane as the more advanced players.

Do for me that,main stars may not have played at there best but it's only the second game of the season & yet salah still earned us a pen , & got an assist.
Results like tonight's at a moody ground against a well organised side on a Monday night are a great sign. benteke & zaha never got a sniff in my book and that's down to how fantastic Gomez & vvd played
