Mane has been especially poor but the whole team have been a bit off today, something not clicking. But this is what champions do, win when they are not playing well.

Should be leading for at least one more goal.

Just heard, 18 months since last defeat at home, amazing record.

Plenty of the ball but very scrappy first half. Need to quicken it up in the second half, a game we must win

That finish by Salah was absolutely sublime!!

Also, is it just me, or has Milner been playing more of a right midfielder?

I would change Mane with Shaqiri on 65th minute. We need another goal to secure it. Alisson was playing on thin ice for a moment.

Be inclined to put Shaqiri on for Mane, he’s having a mare.

As ever with Mane he will have a game where nothing comes off right for him but then he does something very very right!

Been pretty poor really. Unfortunate at times, but we've not been doing enough.

Lots of sideways, backward passing, and far too wasteful between the front three.

For me, Shaqiri and Sturridge have got to be given a chance soon. Should have been on from the start.

But - comfortable all the same, and small improvements will bring another goal.

Well we are leading at half time, which is the most important thing....
Mane's passing has been a bit lose at times, and BHA has been  making things a bit hard, but what i would like to see is our mid-field picking out more penetrating passes, and more passing into areas rather than looking to pass into feet...
We have the movement and the skill up front to make this a extremely challenging day for their defense so let's do it

Yeah, thought Firmino should have scored.

Difficult to complain about our lethargic play as Brighton has been very disciplined, although, it would be nice to have Shaqiri on to drive at the opposition and force the play a bit!

A lot of credit should go to Brighton as well , putting a lot of effort and work into closing down the spaces , we just need to be patient and wait for the gaps to appear when Brighton start tiring. These are the sort of games we wouldnt normally get that goal so good to get it early. Very impressed with the middle three and Gomez is having a right battle with Murray
