I hate this kind of question so many people ask, what’s the point?! Why does it have to be one or the other? We treat both competitions equally seriously and aim to win them both. Simple as that.

Probably because it's been 28 years since we've won the league!

People say we got a tough group - I say the others got the tough draw. We're in pot 3 - last year was incredibly lucky, we were always gonna cop someone "decent." For that someone to be PSG is brilliant, the pressure is on them to deliver with how they spend. And with the way they'll want to play, we'll defo get chances. Napoli are an unknown with the changes they've gone through, will be tough - but manageable. Don't have a f**king clue about Red Star to be honest, so I won't say we should win because there's no easy games.. But we should be looking to bank 6 against them.

Bring on these cu*ts. Finish top and bring on another run at the cup.

Yep,it's a good group,as others have said it's a bit hooli throw back. But nothing to worry about on the pitch.
I had an uncle that once played for Red Star Belgrade.

We've got an exciting group, looking forward to the challenge.
We do have one or two few things to teach PSG about playing in European nights, don't we? ;D

Tough draw but what must PSG be thinking? Pot 1 and they end up with us and Napoli!

Think we’ll get through it but there’ll be some nervy moments on the way for sure.

What would people prefer? The league title this year or No.6 and don't say both! Let's be realistic!

For me personally, I want that Premier League!

League and I think we'll get it as I think Citeh's focus will be on the CL which they have every chance of winning.

Having said that it kind of depends where we stand when the knockout part of the competition starts, if we are ahead in the league or at least close to Citeh then I think our focus must shift towards the league, but if they are miles ahead and romping away with the league again then our focus shifts to getting top4 and having another go at the CL.

I'm just looking forward to Manure not getting out of their group and Maureen proclaiming that Young Boys and Valencia are great teams with lots of herritage :-)

I couldn't give a flying F**k about them anymore, but City are just mouthy scruffs who won the lottery, I don't ever want to see them anywhere near a Champions League final.

I think it a tough draw as both PSG and Napoli are very good sides, could of been worst but it could of been a lot easier draw as well. I will say I do enjoy the fact we are playing sides in Europe we haven played in a while (Napoli since 2010, PSG since 1997 and Red Star since 1973) and I think this group could come down to the wire between the three of us.

all the posts to quote you go for my one that needed no reply at all.

We hear why the draw is rigged every season how we're "supposed" to get Barcelona, Bayern, Real etc etc. It rarely turns out like that.

I'm a firm believer that any team has an equal chance of getting anyone else, as per the regulations at the time.

Certainly should make the PSG-Napoli games lively.

Let's face it nobody wanted us as the third seed in their group.

This is why we're in it to test ourselves against top teams.

Excited about it all. We should do this every year

Is this the same Napoli team we humiliated in preseason? As for PSG they are  a worse version of Man City and I think are very beatable. I fancy us to win this group or at the very worst come a comfortable second.

Being conditioned to devalue regular season performance and embrace post season/playoff atmosphere, I'd rather LFC be Champion of Champions earning that title in do-or-die death matches vs Juventus, Madrid, and Barca.....verses......fi nishing off a golden PL season with wins verses Cardiff City, Huddersfield, Newcastle, and Wolves.
But that's me...someone who didn't grow up viewing every township, hamlet, or city as my mortal enemy. My hatred is limited to NYC, LA, and Montreal.....shared by all Boston sports fans from my generation.
