Gini was still better than Henderson.

As bad as Henderson was today, he was nowhere near as bad as Wijnaldum.

Thought that was a Mignolet replay, bet he was chuckling like F**k on the bench.

About Henderson, is the penny starting to drop?

Did a long time ago for me, I said it when I saw the lineup today that we'd struggle and that's how it panned out.

Having said that it was an extremely scrappy performance all round, Mo and Bobby need to get their heads straight, they are way below their normal levels so far this season but we look so much better in defence this season.

As for Alisson he'll learn, he needed that fuckup and it was coming, just good it didn't cost us. Aside from that he just looks sop much better at the back than Migs or Karius ever did.

But and its a big BUT, we have played below par so far but we have 12 points and a decent goal difference.

Midfield needs more balance, hopefully fabinho will get minutes soon. Little cohesion for me, missing a link between midfield and attack, especially someone like that little number 7 in catalonia and definitely the ox

You lot have forgotten more about football than I'll ever know so forgive what may be a stupid question.   How much of an effect did the world cup coupled with us integrating several new players have with our lackluster start so far?

The fact that we have 12 points and haven't  played as well as i know, we know, we can  is massive.  I can't speak for the past as I've been a football and LFC fan for 1 year and 1 week but from all I've read, past teams would be looking at 5 to 7 points rigjht now.   To look as shabby as we have at times and still have 12 points  tells me this squad is of the quality we all expect.

At last, the team shows that it can win matches even on a bad day.

Lacked a bit of role model/someone dominant in the middle today. Milner has been showing that of late, however at his age he can’t consistently do such game after game.

We will come good, hoping the big fixture against Spurs will make it click again as it sometimes does, but also fearing we may be showed up.

Gini was still better than Henderson.

I thought things were a lot more calming with Gini moving in as the 6, but I felt the confidence of playing the ball out (like how we did in the last 3 games) had gone by then. Rather than looking for the pass, we just cleared balls into no man's land.

Let's hope this is the one and final lesson for Klopp, he simply can;t play both slow mos hendo and wijnaldum together. That's the end result, got over run by a bus. Shaqiri at least provided the harassment in midfield. there were ocean of space between ther back four and goalkeeper and our slow mos hendo and wijnaldum simply failed to capitalise.

Two years ago we lose that game, a year ago its a draw. Yes it was ugly but it's still showing a hell of a lot of progress.

Rightly said. Some dead woods must start to ship out before it affects others.

Yep.  Worth noting that we've conceded 1 goal in 4 games and to be honest, it was kind of an own goal in a way!

A year ago, Schmeichel probably heads that corner in at the end - something as simple as that.

Played plenty of games when we didn't get the points we deserved so I'm more than happy at 4 wins with maybe one totally dominant performance amongst it.

      We will get better.

I think it could be a factor yes, we certainly are capable of much much more and I hope that starts against Spurs and then PSG, for sure if we play like we did today they will both rip us to shreds.

Didn't see that but impersonating the laughing policeman would be a no no, he would be relieved to say the least that his replacement screwed up on a par with himself.

It could be a good thing that we did not do well in this game so that the lads will think that when they come back from international break they will need to do better. It's Salah that I'm worry of. He's not himself of late.

Very disappointed about Alisson. Two bad mistakes in two games in a row. That's not promising. Glad to have Mig as an option, honestly.

Not a good game, but good enough. Without Alisson's brainfuck we would have cruised to an easy win.

4 wins out of 4 - another game we would have lost or drawn last season , best start for 28 years , it was a battling performance and positives must be taken from that

I think it might have to do something with the issue with the Egyptian FA. That miss today would have given Lukaku a run for his money.

Looks like I was watching the wrong match today, some other team in Red beat a team in Blue. I need new glasses.

Because after logging on here I learn we have lost and were terrible.

      smh

      It's a tough league, folks.

      Up the perfect Reds.
