The key to good throw-ins is equally strong arms. My right arm is a lot stronger than my left, makes my throw-ins lob sided.

How is your right arm stronger, is it your drinking arm ?

yes, that's gotta be the reason!  :f_whistle: in all seriousness, I think it's more reading the game than a psychical thing. It's easy to throw a ball, but knowing where the ball will penetrate their back line is more difficult. It's easy to throw a ball and get a pass back. There's got to be more we can do with throw-ins, Gomez shown that against Croatia. If more of our players can be like Gomez it is good to have a coach.

Yeah it would have been even better if he wasn't a meter over the line when he threw it.

Rib . No good having a belated pop at Keith about his woz and his weres after I had already done it when you are going round dropping spelling bombs such as psychical physical in to the mix.

MIRO, you were the first to pop at Keith about was or were. Woz isn't a word and neither is weres either, were can't have a plural. Physical is correct and 9/10 times I'd spell that correctly. You don't need to put 'his' twice.. the 'and' implied you were still writing about Keith. MIRO, for somebody who points out errors you really need to improve yourself.

I would say 99% of my errors now come from swipe to text as it's quite inaccurate for choosing the correct words, but it's also 3-4 times faster to use.

I've always thought we are the worlds worst when it comes to throw ins, always to someone who promptly passes it back to the thrower, regardless of the tight markings, (unless it's a Joe Gomez special)  do top players need a throw in coach?

      Every little helps.

Personally think we need a set piece specialist. Have lost our mojo since Coutinho left- we tend to just lump it in the middle hoping for Virgil to get on the end of it. Would like to see a bit more tactical nous and swagger.

I do feel our throws are getting a bit better. Hopefully we get more long throws when Gomez is back.

Weird isn’t it - I think our corners have looked poor all season but apparently we’d scored more set piece goals than any team in the league (up to couple games ago) 🤷‍♂️

Check this out, pretty amazing to be honest. Didn't expect this fella to have this kind of impact on the team, but what to I know!
