Henderson isn't good enough to face Spurs. He can put in an average performance against weaker teams, which gets him MOTM for some bizaar reason... because he's captain!? He would flapp around clueless against Spurs. Milner has experience against top sides, he should be paired with Keita and Gini. Spurs is not a good game to introduce Fabinho either.

Lads it is Spurs we are playing, good side and tough to beat but they are not all conquering and if we are on our game we have enough to get a positive result.

After the league games against these last year, I’d bite your hand off right now for a point.

But you said Milners "legs are gone"?

Haha I guarantee you now Swab is checking previous posts to quote you!

       ;D ;D
I always 100% rated Milner.  I've said this time and time again. I've had the same annoying arguement on multiple occasions with Swab.
I already asked him to show me where I said that in the Leicester preatch thread.

Now it's in this Spurs pre match. He's a lame WUM.

Maybe going for the more familiar and balanced midfield 3 that started in our first 3 games might be the better solution. And perhaps you are right on Fabinho, maybe throwing him as a starter might not be the best idea, but hey.. maybe he is ready, guess we won't know unless he out playing.

      I walk without problems thanks.

And this from the fella who trolls every thread with Henderson bashing, who ignores all the evidence contrary to his own opinion, and who has said many times that if a player is over 30 "his legs are gone" and indeed did say it about Milner, but now wants to pretend he didn't because he thinks it strengthens his anti Henderson agenda.

Anyhow, ribbit aside, for once the lineup won't be based on what Klopp has seen in training, or at least not exclusively with so many players away playing useless, crappy international money spinning for UEFA/FIFA matches.

I'm quite confident about getting a result in this match, and I feel Klopp will go with tried and tested players who know his system simply because of the lack of preparation, and for that reason I can't see Keita or Fabinho starting, although Keita is likelier to start than Fabinho imo.

Oh, and F**k early kick offs, another exercise in money grubbing.

Shocked if Henderson doesn't start, but I expect Keita will as well. Not sure whether Milner or Gini sits, but my guess is Gini

My reasoning for Keita standing more of a chance of a starting place is that a role further forwards isn't the same tactically as a deeper role.

I wouldn't be surprised if we played with 2 deep and 1 up.

I wouldn't mind that (regardless of who plays) as my biggest concern is that the punditry/media world is setting Joe Gomez up for a fail. I agree he has done well so far, but he's still very young and he won't have been tested like this. A little more protection in front of him might be a good idea.

F**k the media, they are a bunch of gimps for the most part.
He's done well this season, but yes, a bit of extra protection wouldn't go amiss.

Did a quick search and didn't find anything about an injury, so presumably TAA is keeping him out of the team.

He has been in training earlier this week. He will likely start at least once in these next 7 matches, maybe the 22nd vs. Southampton.

Tough one of a few coming up.
Kane contributes 41% of the goals.
      Man mark.

A few teams have the measure of them . Im confident with Alisson and VVD .... a lot more confident than 12 months ago with meltdown Migs.

      0-2   thank you very much.

Its a really tough one to call, as its an early kick off, first game after international break plus game at Wembley, all 3 of which tend to affect our team negatively but for some reason I feel we are going to click into gear in this game and hammer them, no logic behind that just a gut feeling.

Shame about his injuries as he's pretty solid defensively, but TAA seems to be better going forwards.
