Sense that too. Salah is 100% off the boil, but it is the pressure from being so fantastic. Defenders are looking for him, when he gets the ball, we're all demanding a goal. The expectations are high! Perhaps he's even a bit wary of another injury like he had.

When he settles down, he'll be great again though.

Yeah Mo isn't at his best but it was bound to happen. I liked his second half display tho. He kept trying, may be should've laid it off once or twice but he kept at it, still showed confidence to do what he did last season. It will happen if he keeps trying. What he MUST NOT do is to change his game. Carry on, don't worry about missing chances, keep going at them with confidence...the goals will come.

Next three games will really show us how this season will go and I fully expect us to win all three.
I'm not sure. It's hard to call our b team verses Chelsea b team in EFL cup. I don't watch PSG much, I've little idea about how good they are.

Delighted with the 3 points, we all know Klopp will be reading the riot act about the waste infront of goal  so best leave that to him.

Im just waiting for us to click TBH because sooner or later someones going to catch a sore one and that means anyone PSG Chelsea  either of the Mancs anyone ,we have so much left to improve on its scary  , Spurs were kaaking it today and they are supposed to be
      a threat

So its well done us ,and move on.

Milner nicked the MOTM for me, just in front of Gini. All round good performance. Spurs were woeful, said Dier was overrated...he was dire and he got hooked. Pity Deli the diver wasn't playing...love it when we beat Kane,Dire and Deli the Diver..

So, Gini has still not scored away. Anfield South doesn't count as away. 😉

City 1-0....balls up by Fulham playing out from the back.

There's an epidemic of teams trying to play out from the back and making a mess of it. Spurs did it a time or two today. We've had our issues. I'm sure Klopp has told our front 3 to press as teams try to play out from the back.Could be worth half a dozen goals per season.

We actually defended set pieces very well for most of the match. That they even had the chance to score at the end comes down to us, mainly Mo, wasting chances on the other end. Sure it was tense at the end but it's an away win at a top 6 opponent, perfect record and top of the table. Bobby looked more like himself today, the back line is solid and we have got some SERIOUS competition for midfield places going on. Nothing but good vibes here. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone and look forward to the Champions League night at Anfield.

How good has Milner been? Hard work, hard work and a little more hard work. His fitness levels are astounding. I heard he was a cross country runner when he was a schoolboy which probably explains a lot of his physical ability!

Crazy, and I had written him off this season, even last season too ffs.

Even if he has an exceptional season, would you want to see him be given a contract extension?

Yeah I would - no hesitation. Age means nothing if you're playing at such a high level. Too many people are scared by his age (as if 32 is 'old'!) which is probably influenced by a false narrative in football where your early-mid twenties are your peak years and then it's all downhill from there. I mean look at the season Glen Murray had last year and he's 34. If you're fit enough then it doesn't matter how old you are. Experience and the intelligence/wisdom that comes with it is overlooked.

One of those "6-point" games. Nice and easy win, without conceding clear chances.
I like our defense a lot more than last year. They somehow feel confident. If they continue like this, I don't see any reason why Lovren should be at the starting 11 again. Let him be a substitute. Gomez is awesome so far.

Big statement there, winning away to Spuds, a probable top4 team. Delighted with the 3 points :)
And should have been more comfortable, missed a LOT of chances, and how could Mo not have laid that up for Studgy. Still, in recent times we might have leaked another, but we're a much more solid unit now.
Much better from Bob today, thought he did great, sharp, closing people down and wonderful link up play and passing.
Quiet again from Mo tho showed a few more signs, and Mane caused them a lot problems.
Keita did well, Gini took the header well, but Milly again was the main man driving the team.
Couple of mistakes from Gomez at the start of the 2nd half, other than that was good, VVD a rock as always, colossus in the air, FBs both comfortable. Alisson kept it simple.
Didn't like to see Studge jump and turn away from the ball for their goal, Jürgen won't have missed that.
15 out of 15. Keep it going boys !!! :)

Yeah, he could probably do another 2-3 seasons at the highest level, but I wonder, if Leeds get promoted and Milner out of contract next summer....
