Way I see it - we need to keep our midfield fresh for the Premier League.

Absolutely no point going all guns blazing in this first game in the group IMO.  We drew our first two games in the group last season and (despite some of the moaning at the time) ended up in Kiev.  PSG and Napoli won't both be getting 6 points in their games against each other.

Yep. I'd be very surprised if Hendo isn't in the starting 11, tomorrow.

Would be gutted if Firmino doesn’t start.

For sure we will see someone in our team who is Brazilian, knows Neymar's play well, and played against PSG last year.

Klopp in presser says he is still unsure. I hope he is on from the start. Daniel can start vs. Saints

I'm just as excited to see what kind of greeting awaits PSG as their bus rolls towards the stadium.

Having read a few different views about our approach to this match, I'm in 2 minds.

On the one hand, I'd like to see us really go for it, and possibly rip them a new arsehole.

On the other hand, it's all about the points at this stage, so no need to go mad.

No doubt by kick off time, I'll want us to go for it

nah, when my son was a toddler he poked me in the eye. It is a common thing apparently, hospital staff even guessed it.

I remember doing that to my dad when i was a kid

      Nah, too much tinkering.

      Salah   Sturridge  Mane

Straight swap Bobby for Danny, least disruption.
Shaqiri wide will probably happen in league cup along with Fabinho being introduced as DM.

It's one change to the team.
Sturridge doesn't have the work rate or tenacity to replace one of the front 3 against PSG.
      Shaqiri should get the nod.

Am I right in assuming you'd have Shaqiri on the right and Salah central (although obviously the front 3 will rotate) ?

I'd go along with that if Firmino is out.

Yeah. Salah played fairly central in his best form last season.
Would still be a front 3: Mane - Salah - Shaqiri.

Much more likely for me Racer.

Jürgen wants them penned in and reduced to pinging long balls at Cavani / Neymar.

I am presuming of course that the eye injury is enough to keep Firmino out for a few days.

This nails it for me, as far as options up front go.

Henderson starts, maybe Keita and Wijnaldum, with Milner coming on later.

      Back 5 no changes.

I would not change the midfield 3 right now, they are doing well.
We already need to change Bobby for Sturridge or Shaqiri.
I think after the PSG game Klopp will have to look at player fitness.
Henderson will probably be starting against Southampton in the league or Chelsea in EFL cup.
Henderson won't get back into this team based on just being Henderson. Gini, Milner and Keita are bossing it at the moment.
He will get minutes soon, because we have a lot of games and we need to rotate.

Hendo will 10000% start, Klopp hinted towards it before the Spurs match, and today, he did the press conference which usually means he is gonna play.... just hope he isn't deployed as the 6.

Tomorrow night is a perfect opportunity to play Henderson for me. One of the reasons why we progressed to the Champions League final was Jürgen's superb use of rotation to keep everyone fresh throughout the season, with everyone peaking when it really mattered. If he was starting the same team week in week out (twice in one week even if we were including CL weeks) for the foreseeable future then it would make me a bit uncomfortable in the long run. We have the depth available to us, we should use it.

The way I see it, if we do like for like changes in midfield, we will not drop in quality, perhaps even surpass what we have seen so far.

I also can't see Firmino starting, but I think if Mane and Salah starts, we will be fine with Sturridge up top.
