      Pre-Match: Liverpool V PSG (18/09/18 - 20:00)
      Sep 16, 2018 12:12:50 pm
      Group stage - Group C 1st game.

Clubs meeting for first time in UEFA competition.Liverpool are 16 UEFA home games unbeaten: W11 D5. Paris drew three previous group games in England.

      NB: Team no longer available

Would play Fabinho because he knows them and will rest Firmino because of his eye.

I expect the same 11 that we saw yesterday. Maybe Henderson for Milner or Wijnaldum if one of them needs more recovery time, maybe as you say, if Bobby's eye is an issue, but otherwise it should be the same 11 The rotation will come next weekend vs. Southampton.

Fabinho will debut, I have a feeling because he knows them and I would definitely rest Firmino because of his eye.

I agree with resting Firmino, but I don't think we will see Fabinho make his debut. Klopp also said (correct me If I am wrong) Hendo will play on Tuesday (vs PSG).

Might get a lot of disagreements, but I would have Solanke over Sturridge :D Or maybe have Shaqiri as the false 9?

Also, I think PSG will be missing, Rabiot, Verratti and Kurzawa

Here we go again Champions league nights and the best atmosphere in the world. We will need to be at our best against a very good PSG side.

We will need the crowd to get on the back of Neymar every time he rolls over screaming after making minimal contact. Put your shoulder into his and he'll roll around screaming holding his face like he's just had a full on  Glasgow Kiss ! Gotta give him loads of stick and the ref will soon realise he's being watched closely as well. I'm going for a win here, 3-1 the red men, because our defence is solid, our attack is about to jell, and as they will want to play footy, we will have spaces to exploit. Mid field needs to stay the same, as they are playing so well together, we saw how it diminished with Hendo in, as it became unbalanced. If it aint broken, don't mend it. Plenty of time for rotation v Saints and Chavs in the cup.

Agreed. PSG are coming to Anfield to win and that plays perfectly into our hands.

Klopp is going to set us up perfectly and this where Salah’s season will kick off with a hat-trick.

F**k PSG, bunch of cu*ts think they’re the toast of Europe in their tinpot league.

We’ll send them back to Paris in bits.

      Alisson
      Clyne-Gomez-VVD-Moreno
      Shaq-Henderson-Keita
      Salah-Sturridge-Mané

Probably a bit too much rotation, but I feel some guys of the 2nd row deserve a real chance where they feel important.

Yeah let's give the second string a run out against one of the top teams in Europe, perhaps stick Migs in goal as well!

I think if Firmino isn't available, then I'd play Manè through the middle with Shaq and Mo either side. Other than that surely the same team plays

Would again go with pretty much the same team bar Henderson coming in to freshen up the midfield.

We can rest players in the league cup game but no way should we rotate too heavily yet.

No way. Too important game for a tryout. We need to play Tottenham with the squad we used so far. Bring Fabinho in a home game against a lesser side.

      PSG it is then. :P

Ever the optimist, I put us down for a 2-1 win.

It's going to be tough, but I think we showed last year we can live with these "super teams", and do a number on them as well.

I think Klopp has Tuchel sussed out as well, so obviously that'll help.

I’m going for a 3-1 win... PSG won’t know what hit them when they face us at Anfield.. I don’t think they have experienced such atmosphere anywhere..
