All religions should be taxed on their money imo

Dont get me started. I agree 100%. I'm a Constitutionalist. Although the Constitution  provides safeguards for religious freedom it does not give it rights to enact policy. If the Church and various religous groups are paying lobbyists and donating to political campaigns and politicians in order to pass laws benefiting the same Church and religious groups, they should be taxed like a corporation. Its bullshit. They seem to conveniently ignore the base cornerstone of this nation...Separation of Church and State. The beliefs and tenants of religion should not be used as law in 2018.

its completely balanced out by younger under 25 voters that's why its so important to get out and Vote when the time comes.
Its interesting that older voters are equally split voting for Conservatives whether Middle class or Working class.

What a xenophobic thing to say. Not all Catholics are like that. Most Catholics are good people. There's a few rotten eggs in all societies. They're a minority and atheists have committed such crimes too, so don't tarnish whole groups with the same brush.

The BBC have a programme out called "Council House Crackdown"....about all kinds of cheats and fraud....so does that mean all Council tenants are cheats. Or is just that the BBC love to snear at people they consider to be working class. How many who work for the BBC live in Council property. You are right to say that it's not fair to smear all Catholic priests as perverts. But to an extent the Catholic Church deserve all the flack as they just didn't do enough to stop the perverts.

Hurricane Florence giving the US a real hammering at the moment rainfall is just insane, meanwhile the Philippines is bracing itself for the mother of all storms. How lucky we are in this Country to have only a bit of inclement weather to moan about

crimen sollicitationis otherwise known as the crime of solicitation, was put in place and enforced by Ratzinger, who went on to become Pope.
It is instructions on how to pressure victims of sexual abuse through family, friends and peers to withdraw allegations, and if necessary to publicly villify them.
With that in mind, I'd say it's pretty fair to smear all catholic clergy, because they all know about this document/instructions.

Aside from the Discovery (a great attraction), Dundee hasn't had much to attract outsiders to the place and it's probably more well known for its deprivation than anything. But the drive to regenerate the city is well underway so this new V&A museum that's just opened is great news for the place. Would love to visit it.

Becoming like a monthly event in the States.

      'Multiple deaths' in Maryland shooting

There were "multiple fatalities" in a shooting at a pharmacy distribution centre in the US state of Maryland, local officials say.

The shooting happened on Thursday morning in the Perryman area, Harford County, about 40km (25 miles) north-east of Baltimore.

There were also "multiple wounded", the officials say. A suspect was in custody "in critical condition".

US media report that three people were killed, and the shooter was a woman.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed this.

It urged residents to avoid the area, but later tweeted that "we do not believe there is any further threat to the community".

FBI officers were deployed to the scene just minutes after first reports of the shooting at the Rite Aid centre emerged at 09:06 local time (13:06 GMT).

At a news conference later on Thursday, Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said it appeared that the suspect had a single handgun, and officers did not fire any shots at the scene.

The identity of the shooter has not been publicly released, and the motive was not immediately known.

Made up it's finally been decided as the major hospital in the city centre, the current Roýal is a disgrace.

UK to take over Liverpool hospital build after Carillion collapse

The British government will step in to bail out a 335 million pound ($439 million) new hospital in the city of Liverpool, after the collapse of Carillion, which was overseeing the deal, Sky News reported on Monday.

An announcement by ministers on the termination of the Royal Liverpool Hospital private finance initiative deal and taking it into full public ownership is expected to be made within days, Sky said.

“Our Board is meeting today and they will be discussing the options available, including the option to terminate the project agreement,” a National Health Service (NHS) trust spokesperson told Reuters in an emailed statement on Tuesday.

Carillion, which provided services in defence, education, health and transport, collapsed in January, becoming the largest construction bankruptcy in British history. It left creditors and the firm’s pensioners facing steep losses and put thousands of jobs at risk.

Britain’s biggest labour union recently called for a criminal investigation into key individuals involved.

An announcement about the future of the hospital could come ahead of opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s speech to the party’s annual conference in Liverpool, according to Sky News. Corbyn has long been opposed to public-private partnerships and has said key industries would be nationalised should Labour win power.

The Royal Liverpool Hospital and Carillion did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

You'll notice the bosses all took their millions in pay and bonuses though.
They knew it was going under, they knew it was a house of cards, they should all be in court and facing prison time.
