Too be fair midfield didn’t need to press anyone.

Yeah, I think this game didn't need our midfield to battle and dominate as they gave us so much space because their front 3 didn't bother helping the team out.

our midfield three absolutely snuffed them out they couldn't breath once they came into out half.

We're such a well coached team. Looking at us defending from the front as a team was incredible. We were able to control the vast majority of the game thanks to that. The understanding between the likes of Mané, Robertson and Milner on the left, or Salah, TAA and Wijnaldum on the right, plus Sturridge or Firmino dropping back or moving to wide positions when necessary, that all looked perfectly natural, as something that comes easy to the team. And that's an incredible trait, because such mutual understanding is very difficult to get, let alone in the first month of the season. I'm as excited as I've probably ever been about LFC. I think this team has the potential to be the best Liverpool FC I've witnessed as a fan.

So refreshing to see real top quality coming off the bench.

And still afford to leave a player as good as Keita on it.

I think majority is an understatement. We damn near controlled the game aside from like a collective 3 minutes worth of time it felt!

Match had Final vibes to it. Amazing finish. Bobby bailed out Mo all things considered, but it's hard to be critical rn. Mo will be fine.

I gotto give the MOTM to Milner again. Ran like a 20 year old player, closing down the space and put in the tackles. PSG is a world class team and to beat them is no easy job. I gotto say Hendo and Gini did well too. In fact, not much fault that I can see from all over the pitch. In fact, the defence did quite well too and it's not easy coming up against a world class team like PSG with such world class attacking players. No worries, Salah is just going through a bad patch and it's a mater of time before he starts scoring again. He needs support and encouragement at the moment.  Bobby's last goal was Klopp's secret weapon. Overall very happy with the performance. Let's move on to the next game against Southampton.

Maybe we should have a player ratings system, as opposed to picking just one MoTM, it's getting so I don't want to choose ONE player our of a great team effort.

Know what you mean. Gomez, VVD, Robertson, Milner & Wijnaldum I struggled with for my pick.

Imagine how much Tuchel must hate Anfield. THAT comeback against Dortmund with Lovren's goal, and now Firmino's.

After that sh*t show from PSG the Qataris must be wondering why they bothered wasting billions on a team, in a league where they will never realise their dreams of European domination.

Phil Thompson on SKY was great he has been there done absolutely everything yet a winning goal for his beloved REDS gets him out of his seat. Its the same with Aldo .

its probably an awful lot of 80 year olds who only get excited these days when we score a winning goal in the 91st minute

It is probably the 80 year old's who can recall all the successes and failures this great club has achieved since winning the league in 1947.
Back to the match it was good to see us attack them from the kick off with what must be a record for the number of corners over such a short space of time.Well done Jürgen's MIGHTY REDS.

Brilliant team performance!!  It says a lot that we are 6-0-0 without any individual player (bar maybe Milner) playing at peak form.  The only gripe I have is that, just like the Spurs game, we should have killed this one off a lot earlier than we did.

Good to see Danny on the score sheet again.  What's he got, about 80 minutes of game time with 2 goals ???  Not a bad return that!!
