How on earth Mark Hughes is still on this job? God knows.
I'm content that we got 3 max points, clean sheet and Salah scoring one.
Mane is a bit off today, Bobby worked hard but not creating many chances, Shaq was the difference in the first half, my MOTM.

Not a vintage display but good enough to get 3 points. Not too worried that we are not in top gear. The season is long and we are simply consistent at the moment, keeping up with the pace at the top. Man City is free scoring at the moment but it is a matter of time before they hit a slump while we can only improve. Well done lads. Hopefully with that goal it took some pressure off Salah.

Still in second gear and still playing great and bagging the points can't ask for more than that really,Gini gets my motm regardless of not playing the full 90.

Yeah, Shaqiri was superb, but only 45 mins.... does anyone actually know why? I am sure we would have scored another 3 had he stayed on.

I hate picking MOTM but even though he only played 45 mins he was involved in two goals so Shaq gets my vote he is going to be a very interesting player to see how Jürgen improves him

Not bringing Fabinho in a game like that should raise all red flags, don't u think? (edit: after re-thinking: Hendo, Milner and Gini play pretty good, Klopp couldn't expect that, so maybe they are just too good for Fabinho right now)

Very sad for Shaq, he looked awesome (considering his non-play-time so far).

Last, but most important: finally a cruising win. I begin to not only want to win the league, but the treble and then the club world cup (we haven't won that one yet).

he took a nasty tackle and struggled afterwards according to Steve McMahon and I expect he is expected to play on Weds.

Never got out of second gear. Salah worked his arse off today. The goals are gonna start flying in soon. Remember going home in the ‘70s and ‘80s disappointed after a game like that!! It’s good to have that feeling coming back 👍

I can’t work out why it was disallowed

Salah back on field, and was behind their keeper is what I imagine the linesman saw.

I went for Matip as MOTM.  Scored a goal and in his first full game in a while he held the back line together after VVD went off.

Red flag? not really, klopp probably feels he's not quite ready just yet,had him on the bench again so he is almost ready, his time will come without doubt, more over we are top of the league using the same  core of the team
That has got us there, yeah he made changes today but still using players that are more familiar with how we play with shaq being an exception  but he is more familiar with playing in the prem than what fab is.

Fabinho will likely start against Chelsea in the league cup. I've said that for weeks now.

Still went with VVD as MOTM. The bloke is F***ing brilliant.

That was so easy it was embarrassing for the Saints.

We're 6/6 in the league and probably played better than second gear in one...two games?

Not sure about raising red flag, but kind of see what you mean...Just think Klopp wants to get him up to speed in the Premier League first... And remember games will come thick and fast in December he will have plenty of chances to prove himself

Would have liked to seen Keita on instead of Milner, and the lad be given a rest...
