In the grand scheme of things this trophy is more winnable than say the Champions League. Klopp does need some silverware.

No Migs for me. Why risk it when we have a much better keeper who we don't need to rest at all. Other than that, I'm fine with resting our better players, and give the other lads some minutes:

Sound. I know he'd been pictured in training but hadn't really looked up any details about where he was at.

Not really sure what to suggest for changes, rotation etc, just know we’ve got to win this comfortably. That will take the wind out of their sails for up coming Prem game. We change to much and lose it, they will gain loads of confidence for Prem.
I think we go strong, get it won, then make a couple of changes.
No harm in starting the likes of Shaquiri and Studge. Keita and possibly Lovren and Clyde. They all have experience st this level, but the youngsters can be given minutes about 70 mins in, as long as we are well ahead !

I'd swap Origi for a free lunch based on preseason form....

Depends, Subway, McDonald's or Burger King would seem a bit cheap. If it were a Wagamama it would be worth considering.

Haha, nice one. I would still play Simon not to freeze him. Hopefully, we do not need him apart in domestic Cups.

Makes sense to start Migs. As a backup he should be getting the Carabao cup at the very least and potentially the FA cup. Like it or not, he is the #2 and he needs games so that if Alisson ever goes down to illness or injury we don't have a goalie coming in who has not played in a game all season.
