      My points:

      1. Gini/Hendo/Milly is not good enough against top sides. Plug in either Keita, Shaq, get Fekir? in January or hope for Ox back soon and 100%.
      2. Defense was 2017-ish today, but it happens, no problem.
      3. Salah has some real sh*t on his legs, looks lost overall and doesn't compensate with sheer effort like Bobby.
      4. Sturridge has found his place: as a premium joker.
      5. Shaq needs to start, again showed potential, but it's hard to come in the 70th minute and click if you are not a pure goalscorer.
      6. Hijacking one point from London is good enough, we can be happy, even more so when looking how it came.

I cant even be bothered to answer this.

Very true. No other team in the top 4 is as dependent on one player as Chelsea are with Hazard.

Very untrue. If VVD goes down we'll be screwed as much as Chelsea if Hazard goes down.

I would love to put you in front of Jürgen and let you say that to him he would rip you a new arsehole. you may need that explaining

Oh I'd love to have a good chat with Jürgen, I'm fairly sure we'd get on famously and have a few beers.

      One word PHEW!

We were way off our normal standard apart from GK and CB's who saved us today. I never want to see Henderson with Milner again, they become super passive and negate the team.

I agree 100%. We need a more aggressive and creative midfield. Not necessarily against weaker sides, but against top sides.

not if you talk the same as you post.
Got to say I do like Chelsea's manager he is a bit like Jürgen in just talking as he sees it a welcome change from surly Portugese

Point was fair. Yep we had a couple cleared off the line but we needed Alisson to make two world class saves at the other end. We probably did get into more promising positions than them but the front three didn't turn up again.

First time I got to properly watch Sarri's Chelsea. They probably don't have the firepower to win the title but they've got a great balance to that midfield already and with most of their defence having worked under Conte, they look pretty solid back there too.

As for us, another mixed bag really. VVD and Alisson were fantastic again, our midfield competed well although lacked quality (surely Keita has to come in for Milner or Hendo soon) but unfortunately the front three were off it. Really need them to step it up in the coming weeks before we start dropping too many points.

And of course, what a F***ing goal from Sturridge!

MOTM has to be Becker. Well, he just won us 1 point today and I'm sure there'll be more to come. If it had been Mig or karius we would have lost the game today. Well done Alisson. Studge world class strike is something very special too. MU loosing today, seems to be a fairly good weekend. Let's prepare for the game against City.

reflecting on what a good game of football that was the pace and intensity was superb. We should have a collective moment of thought for our resident Manc who has to watch a pile of sh*te week in week out and then listen to his manager blame everyone but himself for the defeat how lucky are we to have this team and this manager

They live from what they get out of the midfield. Our midfield is pretty good, it's just that we'd need some more vertical and creative play from there. Gini/Hendo/Milly are like good "nice" housewifes that take care of the home, but we'd need at least some MILF there, so to speak. In that very sense Chelsea has the luck to have a true porn star with Hazard.

I agree he was immense today, but you cannot score a goal like that and not win MOTM. Just give Danny goal of the season award right now because no one is scoring a better one than that this season.

Pros: Alisson, VVD, Gomez and D Sturridge

Cons: Front 3 still in vacation mode it seems, we wasted too many chances

I think the reason the front 3 struggled is that we need a creator like Keita behind them. Glimpses of when he came on and started to pick up the ball and drive at their defence and picking out the front 3 with regularity.

They had 4+ high quality chances they fluffed right in front of goal...don't think creation was a problem.

Virtually all those chances they created themselves, where is the service?

its another way of complaining about Henderson, Last week Milner was the best thing since sliced bread now he is past it again. Last season they managed ok but the front three are off for now and we need other options and today Danny was brilliant. Maybe when Kieta and Fabhino are fully integrated we might see a difference but for now Jürgen is sticking with what he knows works
