Who in your opinion is the most boring side to watch, international or club?

For a long time now Ive found it very hard to watch my own country, Rep of Ireland. And last night cspped it off. Tacticless sh*te.

I gave up watching the lads when Jack Charlton decided that anyone whose grandad had drank a pint of Guinness or could point to Ireland on a map qualified for the National team.
I know it gave the team a boost, but I'd rather have Irish lads giving it their best shot, especially when he got rid of Liam Brady, an absolute gem of a player.

The most boring teams I've seen have been Italian sides, but the most boring team in England surely has to be George Grahams Arsenal.
IMO they were worse than the Italian teams because they weren't playing a tactical game, they were just focused on not conceding, then trying to nick a goal.
It worked, up to a point, but F***ing hell, I'd have hated to pay money to watch that sh*te.

No doubt! And for internationals, it has to be England.

sometimes think with England they actually set out to bore people to death. Watching Holland was a joy last night a completely different mind set to Southgate's plodders

you truly are are vile person at times. No team set out to be boring, it just happens that easy sometimes. As for England, they reached a second semi final in Southgate's second tournament and could even win a trophy.. Highest rank left in the Nations League at 5th. You shot yourself in the foot really, because those boring performances felt boring when Henderson was playing. Germany even got related! I'm not overly bothered about international football as much as I used to be but I know when people have an agenda to slag the same thing off over and over! England are a very young team and up there with more experienced teams. The progress made in the last year is huge. Holland have bounced back well, but pretending that international games don't get cagey sometimes is ridiculous.

Personally there isn't a most boring side to watch for me. I usually just watch Liverpool play, but if I say most boring opponent I'd have to say that changes every year, but in the previous years it was Stoke.. they punched above their weight skirting around fouls they could only just get away with and injuring players, they were specialists at playing dirty and getting a point. Worked for a while but when it got relied on for a long term plan it cost them premier League status, since the surrounding teams just improved.

      Ireland or MUFC.
      It's a tough call.
Ireland are putting kids off International football.
MUFC kids are getting rid of their kit for the City half of Manchester.

Andy Boothroyds u21s. Surely he has to fall now?

Long ball merchant and his bad results speak for themselves. Shouldn't be trusted with an u21 team, certainly not for the national team.

So so so so much talent in that U21 squad, such a waste.

I think it's safe to say any MLS match. I love Football. I've watched it since I was a kid in the 80s. But holy sh*t is MLS a bore. I watch every Reds match and know its going to be great. Then I watch 10 min. of MLS and I want to shoot myself.

Woman's football, although perhaps I'm being unfair, its not really boring as much as its infuriating because of the lack of quality, sloppy passing and weak shots etc.

Having said that, its infinitely better than it was a couple of decades ago and some of the players are genuinely skillfull, especially goalkeepers

Probably sill better than watching a Tony Pulis side.

Some good players, but utter cynical bas**rds. Pepe being the stand out c**t of a generation. Could never stand him as a player.

just think we are so spoiled watching Liverpool every game is an event. Now just across Stanley Park is a different matter every game is an exercise in staying awake. Funnily enough or not perhaps sides managed by English managers have a terribly boring outlook and start of with the "don't get beat " mentality.

I don't really watch international football - I just want our players who are involved to do well, not get injured and get back. Saying that, I don't really watch football in general unless we're playing or I'm attending home matches of my local non-league side.
