Saturday cannot come quick enough. Very hard to predict the team but whatever Jürgen picks should have enough if we come with a good attitude.

Time to get back to winning ways! 0-3 Reds!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

WE can't afford any slip ups, time for our front three to hit the goal trail again. This should be a comfortable win for the MIGHTY REDS.

Game to get Fabinho, Keita and Shaq up to speed.

We can’t keep playing the same players throughout the year, and the reserves need game time for when they are needed.

100% agreed, we especially need to either get Shaq or Lallana back into the team, we need that extra cutting edge from midfield as we have been relatively ineffective in attack so far this season.
I'd also like to see Fabinho and Keita integrated more but I'm happy to be patient with those two and trust Jürgen to ease them in.

Jürgen has a good record of introducing players into his side . I think the team we see in May 2019 will not be the same as we saw in Aug 2018. I think we will be ready to take Huddersfield apart the lads have had some really intense games so far so this will be one where they can really dominate and enjoy themselves and score some goals too

VVD still has that rib problem, doesn't he? Then you have Salah with the strain, and also Milner who has a niggly injury or something?

Taking those injures into account, I would like us to take a gamble and not play them. We have good enough cover in Lovren, Fabinho, Lallana, Shaqiri and Sturridge.

I'll never understand how naive some supporters can be. You honestly think it wise to make that many changes for one game after the international break? This is not Football Manager or Fifa mate.

Yes, this is not FM or Fifa, so if that trio isn't fully fit, we shouldn't risk it as we have significant cover.

Shaq is going to be a backup all season. He will almost always play as a sub and is most useful for late energy as a wide forward. If Salah has to miss, Klopp will use Sturridge, not Shaq.

Virgil should play, matched w Gomez and Trent and Robbo at full back. Milner will miss for Keita, who will play alongside Hendo and Gini.
So glad we will be playing again this weekend, but it was good to take a break from obsessing this past week.

disagree. Sturridge isn't starting matches ahead of Shaqiri and that is because he'll get injured. Supersub suits him well. Shaqiri will replace Salah if he's unfit and Sturridge will continue to get 15 minutes when we badly need a goal.

Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk return injured from international duty
Mohamed Salah will be assessed by Liverpool when he returns to Melwood tomorrow after the injury that has forced him to withdraw from Egypt’s squad.

Salah was substituted in the final minute of the 4-1 victory over eSwatini, formerly Swaziland, on Friday and will miss Tuesday’s return game in the African Cup of Nations with initial suggestions that he has suffered a groin problem.

He had scored direct from a corner in the first half, but required treatment in the 88th minute and, despite trying to play on, came off in stoppage time.

Liverpool’s medical team plan to check on Salah when he is back in the fold as they determine whether he will be available for next Saturday’s Premier League trip to Huddersfield Town.

The Champions League game with Red Star Belgrade follows four days later and then Liverpool host Cardiff City.

The forward has not scored at club level since scoring the third goal in a 3-0 victory over Southampton on September 22, with one of Liverpool’s triumvirate of Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane failing to score in four successive matches for the first time since they were brought together.

Liverpool are also continuing to assess James Milner, who was substituted in the opening half of the goalless draw with Manchester City last weekend with a hamstring injury.

Scans revealed a slight tear, but the issue is not thought to mean a lengthy period out.

Virgil van Dijk has also returned to Liverpool and will miss Holland’s game with Belgium in Brussels. The centre back, who opened the scoring in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Germany, has been troubled by a rib injury he aggravated against Southampton.

Van Dijk will be assessed along with Salah and Milner.

Can't see Milner play on Saturday, and it seems like 50/50 on Salah and VVD.

If that is true then we are making a mistake, Shaq gives us the energy in midfield which we are currently missing, the kind if energy Couts and Ox gave us.

Didn't even know players on my lineup were injued, thought Van Dijk did alright against Germany. Milner is the injured player then?
