I was having fun, then. Shame.

Anyway, I would like this stat confirmed:

      https://twitter.com/rajsinghchohan/status/1055215420599402496?s=19

I know it's Red Star and that and I'm really not one for getting into the Hendo thing but stats like that may suggest we've got a 6, here, that's going to give us a lot more.

I just watched the highlights because I missed some parts of the game when it was live today. I hope this is our first XI now.

I knew the  Fab part was right it was the Hendo part i was unsure of. Seems low for a 6 in that many games

Imagine him and Keita in the double pivot. Just like Fabinho, it is also Keita's favourite system , a system that uses the double pivot.

Maybe quite harsh on Wijnaldum, he has been arguably our best midfielder this season and right up there with our best players imo. He was excellent again tonight. What I would say is that it is exciting to have so many different options in midfield.

Probably one of the best midfielders in the world when he is on form :) But yeah, Keita would offer something different to Wijnaldum in the double pivot.

Very good performance and that is the midfield I want to see more of this season, so much more positive than Hendo and Milner.

Good showing from the guys tonight, it was nice to see a game where attack was sharp and we created quite a few chances. Shaqiri continues to really be a difference maker each game he has played and it will be near impossible for Klopp to drop him right now and it was good to see all our attack trio get on the score sheet.

Picking MOTM was a tricky call there were so many contenders ,Shaq, Robbo, Mo,Fabinho,I went for Super Joe Gomez he just glides in top gear what a turn of pace he has, the guy just gets better and better, never seems to be under pressure  reads it and deals with it, plus he chucks in the odd goal ,what more could we want .

Hardest choice of MOTM all year for me. I went Andy Robbo just because I feel he worked the hardest, but Shaq and Fabinho played just as well. Mo looked good tonight. Joe looked sharp and Gini moved so well without the ball and complimented Fabinho well. Bob looked like Bob from last year aswell

Very happy with the team performance, we're back with our rampaging style. We moved the ball fast that Red Star struggled to cope with.

It was a good result for the REDS and I hope Virgil keeps the captains armband on a permanent basis.I made Shaq MOM he has what I would call a football brain and he is not afraid to get stuck in.

Don’t think there should be much (in my mind any) argument about that mate.

From the moment he slotted in at 6 last year he’s been outstanding and (again, in my opinion) our best midfielder by a country mile this season.

      Top player.

Must say I was never his biggest fan but he has really impressed me this season and I am starting to change my tune.

His turn in the first half was Iniesta like.

It must be a nightmare to play against VVD and Gomez, both big strong quick and good on the ball.

Gini is turning into a powerhouse and will only get better.

Shaq and Llallana both look sharp.

Sturridge was very good as well, moving the ball quicker than I have seen him for a long time.

We have options now real options to change things up.

Same team for Cardiff at the weekend for me.

lucky we dipping out the Carling cup, or we'd be considering which players to rest against Cardiff.

      Boss that after 20 mins.

The early goal demoralised them, and from then on we turned the tempo up.

Was worried bwfore 20 mins as we were sloppy in our passing again, but we needed that second half performance for us to click finally this season.

Also played a slightly different system which is interesting. Shakiri in more of a cout role, with gini and fab in a double 6, but taking turns being aggressive moving forward. More like man city actually, which is now another option to have.

Gini or Robbo my motm, some of the turns and passes gini did showed another side of his game, while robbo is the bargain signing of any club in last 10 years. Brilliant

Good performance, with all 3 strikers on the score sheet. Look forward to a similar score, against struggling Cardiff on Saturday. Thought that the whole side played well, in particular, the defence on the whole, never looking likely to concede, giving us another clean sheet.

Interesting that our two new lads were the star performers last night.

They look so hungry and eager to prove they deserve a place in the first 11.

      Great to see.

Much improved performance against an admittedly poor side - but you still have to do it.  Will hopefully give confidence to the front lads.  It is good to see that we have options depending on who we are playing.

Shaq is looking a very good buy.  I guess it shows how good players can make each other better.  His workrate is pretty good too.  Fab looked much better and it shows that the manager is able to judge the right time for a player to be brought into the side, and the benefit to not just rushing a new signing.

Robbo was again excellent - I wouldn't swap him for any left back in the world, and if he carries on like this I think he may well become the best left back I have seen (and that goes back to '74).

Could go on but time for tea.
