My point is, Arsenal's idea of improving is messing up other people's transfers for players they have no intention of buying themselves and intentionally unnerving players at their rivals so that they will leave. Whilst we were scraping for fourth we were their target, 4th has been a trophy to them for s decade now. Their business plan is weaken opposition is cheaper than spending and becoming stronger.

      Don't be ridiculous.

Henderson won't play. He's a major doubt according to pysioroom.

Yep, just read that Hendo and Keita will not be in contention vs Arsenal. I have a feeling we will see a Milner, Wijnaldum and Fabinho midfield then, although I would prefer Lallana instead of Milner in the midfield 3.

The side that will batter the Arse(not a metaphor) is a no brainer....

This is it...for those without a brain...

                            Alisson
         Trent    Gomez Virgil Robertson
                            Fabinho
                Milner                Wijnaldom
                     Salah            Mane
                             Firmino

Arse have been decent of late that there is no doubt, but they haven't played us yet and it will be interesting how Unai Emery sets his side up in a effort to combat how we play,
This is more a test for his side than it is for us ,because i believe we are now at a level where we can cope with any kind of situation no matter who we face, albeit still a player or two short of the complete picture,

Emery is where Jürgen was 3 yrs back in his initial season, and although he has his charges playing as a unit, it doesn't  yet have the players capable of dealing with us,

From back to front they have weaknesses that our more established players will exploit, we have a defence that will cope comfortably with their attack, we have a midfield trio that are better and more effective than what they can offer, and we have a attacking trio arguably the best on the planet coming up against a defence akin to a collander,

As of yet we are not at full kilter but it can't be too long until we are, and its games and opposition's like this that can bring out our best, so I'm hoping that tbis win will do just that,

I was going to say 1-3 but i don't think they will get through big Virgil et al, so another clean sheet for Alisson and a resounding 0-3 victory for the Champions Elect.

it's different to play dirty off the field than on it. It's more subtle and most of the time, even more damaging

Defensive and attacking line ups are no brainers, so the midfield is crucial. Klopp has two flavours to choose from:

      A) Shootout: Shaq Fab Gini.

      B) Conservative: Milner Fab Gini.

I'd go with A. We can win any shootout with any team and Arsenal is more vulnerable on defense than we are plus our attackers are better than Arsenals. We win this and honestly we have to the way City is marching.

I like your thinking here, deffo go with the attacking midfield. Bag a couple, Keep it tight at the back, 3 points.

I think I will leave the midfield selections to Jürgen Klopp,as long as we get the 3 points that is all that is required.

That's quite defensive but could work.

Why anyone in their right mind would break up the central defensive partnership of Gomez and VVD is beyond me it really is. Especially when Trent and Clyne are more then capable right backs

To add more solidity to the back line. TAA is very good while attacking but when it comes to defensive duties he is less skilled than gomez. So to have a strong defense gomez goes on to the rightback role while lovren comes into the centre back role with vvd. This is smart from klopp as it gives us a solid backline.

i think Jürgen will go with Lallana or Shaq in the midfield he would'nt leave out both the playmakers.

I just think we will score 2 at least no matter what midfield we go with. Our front three can manage that without Shaqiri or Lallana with the support of those three and the full backs.

So if we score 2 and are solid defensively we win in my books.

Any time we score 2 and are solid defensively, we're highly likely to win!
