Thats a pretty conservative looking team, dont expect much from midfield might be  case of keeping it tight and try and hit them on the break.

Mane could be a big player for us tonight. His end product is top draw and he knows when to lay it off. Sees a pass, two good feet, holds his position well. A threat from start to finish. Fully deserved the new contract and impressed the way it was handled..no nonsense, no fuss.

Would expect them to come at us at home, a lot of pressure on them to perform. A selection from us to be strong and organised.  With hopefully some magic from the front 3.
Big game, looking forward to it. CMON BOYS!!! :)

Don't think we will play for the draw but lets not kid ourselves a draw would be a great result considering our performances in last two away games

Gomez in for Trent and Milner in for Shaq.

100% what I thought he’d do for this one.

This team can smash that lot IF we get on it right away and grab the initiative.

Trent will be disappointed after a good second half against Watford. Does this indicate that the defensive side of his game hasn't quite come to full fruition just yet. He has been targeted once or twice but he obviously has time on his side. Still not quite the finished article. Klopp is managing him well.

We really need press early. Take advantage of Meunier & Rabiot being left out.

I just think Gomez is a better defender at the moment, maybe a bit quicker too, and definitely stronger.

We lose a bit going forwards, but we can also switch to a genuine back 3 at times, with 3 CB's in there and one of Henderson, Wijnaldum or Milner sweeping in front of them.
I think it gives us more options.

Ok so Hendo gets the nod, fairy muff, Jürgen knows best ,i would have played Fabinho in his stead but hey, what do i know?

Still believe we will get something from tonight hopefully the win we need, but id take a draw right now if offered, as would most of you i reckon,

I think PSG will come out and play and go all out for the win, Jürgen will prefer to hit them on the counter, and hope to get in behind and between the lines, particularly the final third.

It’s simple - Gomez is absolutely flying so how can you leave him out and Lovren has been doing the business for club and country for a while now and has massive experience for this type of game.

On a slightly different note, and something I've been meaning to ask for a long time; Does anyone know why Mane ends up on his arse so often after taking a shot?

Gomez vs Neymar > Trent vs Neymar I suppose, so having Lovren in there makes sense.

Personally I'm worried with that line up.

I would back that midfield 3 at home against anyone but away from home in a tough European leg I'm not confident they can hold onto the ball long enough when the pressure comes on.

      Hope I'm proved wrong.

Certainly a containing midfield. Shows respect to PSG's attacking flair. We're not parking the bus or anywhere near it. We still have plenty of attacking threat but we don't want to sit to deep, playing the old attacking defence game, just happy to clear are lines.
