      'It's unacceptable'
      Liverpool 1-0 Everton

      Danny Mills

      Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live 606 phone-iN.

You can't enter the pitch as a manager. You know the laws, you can't do that. It's unacceptable.

Players aren't allowed to leave the pitch and incite the fans. Players take their shirt off - after the Leicester incident - and get booked for that, and rightly so. No matter what the occasion, you can't do it.

It's great to see passion and emotion, I get all that, I don't have any issue with celebrating in the technical area or with the people on the bench, but to run on to the pitch, what if that had caused a massive melee?

If Marco Silva had done it there would have been fans on the pitch trying to get to him. And that's where the problem comes. You can't just say 'it's at Anfield, it's the home manager, that's acceptable'.

      Your wife’s from Sunderland?

      ;)

Ha ha. Kenya actually. Origi’s folks are from the same area. They’re 2nd cousins.

BBC edited out the fact that he said he would give Klopp a 'forearm smash' if Klopp had run past him.

      Angry little runt isn't he?

Yeah and then Klopp would have laid him out !

I'd be curious how our bench looked when the goal was scored. Was Salah pumping? How did Shaq? Milner? Would tell a lot about the spirit of some.

Or big Virgil or one of the other players or all the fans, is Danny Mills genuinely saying that Klopp was inciting an incident and that his solution would have been to smack him at his home ground, real genius this lad!

Got to love the irony of it being ‘completely unacceptable’ to run across a white line on a piece of grass but hitting someone with a forearm smash for doing so is totally fine.

Bobby was going nuts, didn't see the others but I'd be amazed if they weren't as ecstatic as we all were.

Glad that we've got the win, but I honestly think we've got to figure out a way to create meaningful offense.

Watching a game with no significant creativity from the midfield and no real scoring chances being created and then blaming the front three is getting really old.

I'm absolutely thrilled with our defense (including Alisson). Who would've thought we would have the best defense at this stage of the season or at any time really. Yet the lack of opportunity creation against good opposition is getting very old.

Its getting old and we're going to pay for just like we paid for it against PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, Napoli and all the teams with a decent level to them that we faced this year.

We played a total of 8 games against what you would consider as top opposition (Chelsea, PSG, and co). In those 8 games, we managed to score 6 goals from open play. One of these goals was the Sturridge goal against Chelsea in the league which is really a shot that wouldn't get in 9 times out of 10, so if we're being critical here, we kinda scored 5 goals from open play against top opposition and we always looked like we're having a nightmarish time at finding one of the boys up front with a decent pass despite the fact that even on their worst nights their movement is usually very good.

I won't pretend to know the solution, but the problem is there and it needs fixing because we're going to drop points as soon as the next big game comes around. Hell, we were going to be 4 points away from City if it wasn't for that Pickford masterclass.

I'd love to see a video of VVD after he turned away after he sky-ed that shot to see he actually had an assist for the winning goal.

The difference in our house from the 89th to the 95th minute was crazy !!

The groans and moans that went up when Van Dyke spooned it up in the air !!
I got out of my chair and started to walk out of the room, head down, completely pissed off.

Then I glanced back at the telly, in what must've felt like slow-motion, to see Natty Dreadlock Origi put it in with his ear !!

      The house erupted !
We all lost our voices screaming the neighbourhood down
Even the dog sh*t itself and ran out of the room

       :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Injury time winner in the derby, at the Kop end !!
Another magical moment in the history of this amazing club of ours

It was worth the previous 90 mins of frustration for that goal. Thanks very much Jordan Pickford, that could be a massive moment for our season.

We've got to start playing better soon though.  I blame Henderson  :f_tongueincheek:

Strange substitutions - with Mo and Shaq going off and Bobby staying on. Had a feeling when Origi came on for Bobby he might just do something. Left it late like.

Gave Alisson MOTM for the 2nd game in a row. A goalie who can keep us in it when we're struggling - we've needed one for a long time. Now we just need to get our attack sorted out. Sturridge or even Divock have got to start our next game surely. Something has to be changed - our lack of cohesion/confidence up front is getting painful. We need to sort it out before it starts costing us points.
