      Brilliant result if not performance.

      So what did we learn.

      1. Alisson is a world class keeper (and some morons would claim Pickford is better).
      2. Our back 4 that started today should be starting every game barring injury.
      3. Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri should be our starting midfield by January.
      4. Bobby is not playing anywhere near good enough this season and needs a spell on the bench. Origi should start the next few games until Brewster is fit or Bobby regains some form.

That sustained roar/scream for what must have been a full minute after the ball went into the net is something you'd only ever hear at Anfield. A truly epic, ear bleeding noise. No stadium can come close to the heights of Anfield when the drama peaks.

p.s - can we start singing the Merry Christmas Everton song now?

its going to be one of those nights when you drift off to sleep the wife is going to ask "what are you smiling about" its going to take a long time for the sheer joy of that goal to level off.
And yet amidst all this outburst of emotion and joy we still have the usual self indulgent pricks trying to piss on our party. Well F**k them we are going all the way this season and we are only at about 70% of our potential so far.  I am so pleased that Jürgen showed his emotions I think he has been far too quiet this season F**k what people think lets have heavy metal football and heavy metal celebrations

Two goal celebrations that made headlines.

Eric Dier scored for Spurs and runs over to the Arsenal fans and taunts them with gestures to be silent. This causes an almighty melee in the corner between Arsenal players who were warming up and many of the Spurs team and it could've easily involved fans coming on the field. Inciting away fans is not acceptable as it can lead to real violence with people getting seriously injured. Dier an experienced International should know better. He was given the yellow card by the Ref for inciting the trouble in the first place. He should be charged with misconduct by the FA. Will he...I doubt it.

Jurgan Klopp the Liverpool manager goes over the top with his goal celebrations. Running on to the pitch and celebrating with goalkeeper Allison. No threat to anyone and although it's wrong, it was just an over enthusiastic goal celebration. Will he be charged with misconduct by the FA....I'll be very surprised if he isn't.

Origi is always a good option. Been saying it a long while, If option A (Salah) and Option B (Mane) ain't working out, then Origi is the Option C. he has height and throw in some muscles there he'll be a real handful to defenders and open the space for Salah and Mane. Who would have thought that the forgotten man would score a 95th minute winning goal. Well done lad, whether you stay or go, you;ll always be remembered with this goal. Alisson, well nothing much to say except world class, he has won us probably 12 points at this point. Well done lads, lets move on to the next game. Bad news for City, we're right behind you.

Right - after these last few games the team is surely settled:

      Becker

      Robertson
      VVD
      Gomez
      TAA

      Fabinho
      Wijnaldum
      Keita

      Salah
      Mane
      Firmino

And revert the front 3 back to last years positions? Firmino chasing from the front with Salah and Mane flanking.

But it’s not working for salah and Firmino being up top. Need to get these two back on form because it’s key - surely we can simply revert back to last seasons set up?

Swap Firmino for Origi/Stu/Shaq or anyone who can impact the game positively.

      Firmino is gash this season.

But could regain form if we stick him up top like last season?

Shaqiri showed today why he shouldn’t be in midfield for a good number of the games

Jürgen says he apologised to Silva for his celebration after the goal, Silva denies he did. Even apart from the fact that I would support Jürgen, who in their right mind would believe Silva with his track record!
Him and Everton are a match made in heaven!
