      He reminds me of Heskey.
A big lad who seems afraid to use his power.

He should be more like Lukaku and bully defenders.

No, he should *not* be like Lukaku and fall over everytime he gets the ball. ;)

      Quote from Scotia
There were a few last night Mags that exposed themselves as not being genuine supporters.

Anybody whose FIRST reaction was “Not good enough, we were lucky” or to moan about Klopp / push own fav player agendas needs to look at themselves.

If you’re a Liverpool fan you don’t care.....we just beat them lot with a freak goal from an error by their mouthy keeper in the 2nd minute of extra, extra time - added on because of their time wasting......

That’s golden. PLUS unbeaten at this point and 2 points behind City is anything but a “crisis” as one blert suggested.

I've seen worse tbh. When we beat City in the league last year, some wazzock came here to complain about some meaningless statistic, before YNWA even finished playing in the stadium after the game. But we know there were wums lining up to post up rants about Klopp, team, tactics, squad, board, transfers, owners etc after 94 minutes in this game. Before Origi left them red faced a minute later.

Delighted for Divock, and I hope it gives him a springboard to rebuild his career here. He's 6th choice forward now, and it's sad to see him fall so far down the pecking order, he's always had the talent, but has unfortunately just lost his way over the past couple of years. I watched him in the first game of pre-season at Chester, and even though we won 7-0, he was dire, and it looked like he had no future here at all. We haven't seen much of him since then, bar a few minutes in Belgrade. He won't be replacing the 3 up top, but hopefully he can challenge and contribute a bit more often. Because this really is his last chance. And give him the credit for following the ball, when everyone else gave up on it. It was one of those air shots, you don't know if it will spin into the top corner or over the bar. I presume the keeper wasn't sure either and wanted to tap it over just in case, instead he tapped it onto the bar and Divock pounced. Strikers instinct, they never lose it.

Despite how the season has gone, there are still people dismissing us in the title race, including shamefully a small, but vocal minority of our own, waiting impatiently for the next slip up. If City had to grind that result out, they would have been praised for their "never say die" attitude, and how champions "always find a way to win". Well most of us never say die and we have found a way most of the season, to get over the line. If the wums can't bring themselves to acknowledge it, the least they can do is see the bigger picture, which is we're still within striking distance. This time of year is English football rush hour, rat-a-tat-tat, one game into the next, where every club is tested more than usual. Even Guardiola is already complaining about the demands of his upcoming schedule. There are another 6 points available this week, and we can be top again in just a few days time. Hopefully they'll then finally sit up and take notice of where we are and where we're going.

Relive all the matchday atmosphere with highlights of the closing stages of the game. Aldo sounds a bit excited with our first last minute winner at home against them in 25 years.
