What a massive 3 points that could be, keep the pressure on City, Chelsea lose and Arsenal draw!

      What a night.

Scum and arse drop points. Bitters drop points. Chavs drop points.

This weekend City - Chavs coming up. With a win for us and whatever result in that fixture, it'll either become a clear two-horse race or we can get in front/level with City. Quite the weekend to look forward to!

That was not a poor performance. You can't always turn up away from home and batter the home team.

That game showed we have the bottle and the grit to hang in there.

Very true although Bournemouth are going to be a formidable test.

When we switched to the 4231 was something else, complete control in midfield the way we kept hold of the ball.

Great win in the end. The squad is still poor but we got away with using it to get us in a position to win the game in the last 30.

Nah they like to play football which means we will murder them now that VVD is controlling the back line.

Give me a Title and grinding out wins against horrible opposition as apposed to being plucky runners up any day.
We are now a solid team no more terrible shoot yourself in the foot moments we are a seriously good team

Absolutely mate, the football is not nearly so pretty but I’ve loved the way we have defended this season and not just the back 5, the whole team. We play a terrific high line, we win most headers, we win 2nd balls, the midfield mark, track and tackle, we block shots, they are positionally sound and just watch the way our lads congratulate each other when one of them has done their job. I frickin love it. Oh and we’ve got a f**king goalkeeper!

It doesn’t get the credit it deserves and needs to be celebrated in the same manner that everyone creams themselves for the attacking stuff. Yano I only used to relax when we had a FOUR goal cushion!

Alisson was good again but to be honest he did what is to be expected of a top level goalkeeper.

I think in terms of keeping and distributing separately you’re probably right mate.

The 2 together for the 3rd was pretty awesome.

whilst we were beating Newcastle in the Cup final and runners up in the league guess what UTD were doing.
This is the most complete team we have had for a generation Stevie dragged us over the line many times but he never played in a team like this

Didn’t get the goal his performance deserved but Naby came good tonight the difference in midfield driving at them , will only get better
Alisson bit soft for their goal but made up for it with that save at the end and quick throw out for the third .

What’s the chat with the keeper Keith?

Just a “wee bad run” as Brendan would say or is his head elsewhere?

      Not at all.

Saw it late reacted but couldn’t hold and knocked out hands as he tried to gather.

      Not at fault for me.

Trent sleeping back post if anyone culpable.

      Ace result.

Naby was class, gutted for him he didn't score with that cheeky flick that was cleared of the line or that piledriver he hit with his left foot.
      He'll get his goals soon.

      My only two gripes ;
Studge doesn't half piss about with the ball and Matip still runs like a baby giraffe.

Solid 3 points.... get in !
