I’ll take that first half.. I can see us step it up 2nd half & add a couple more..

Very disjointed , not sure what the formation is supposed to be but it’s far to narrow , no control in the middle of the park , no one putting on foot on it and just trying to keep the tempo going.

Not I don’t think Salah through the middle is working , getting him out wide with Bobby in the middle and someone on the other width and then Keita high behind - I think Shaqiri narrows it all a little.

In control for the first 30 mins. Lost our way a bit due to slow reactions thru the middle and down the flanks. Surprised Keita hasn't shown much. Basic stuff OK as it is with Fabinho. Need a bit more movement in front of the back 4. Get it up quickly as we did for the goal.

What a weird match, but quite entertaining to watch. The wind seems crazy but wouldnt it be nice if we stopped hoofing the ball in our own half haha

Alisson is something else, isn't here. Him and VVD have made such a difference in this team. Not just their ability, but their confidence and mentality are just incredible.

Thought that was a relatively comfortable half, considering the weather conditions and the number of corners they won.

We still look like we've got a fair number of gears as well.  Glad Keita's having a good couple of games.  Fancy him for a goal second half.

Not a brilliant half but got the important goal,keita been the standout that half ,need a second though.

Apart from nutmegging two players at the start he's done next to nothing out on the left

Just feels very stop start and struggling at times to get out 2nd gear , given the ball away loads especially the front three , a number of times second to the ball.

We looked good up until we scored, then we invited pressure but we controlled the game in the last 5 minutes. We just lack  a playmaker who can make the final pass.

Lacked a bit of cutting edge yes and had a dodgy 10 minute spell in the middle but apart from that we've had total control.

Think that’s probably the best first half we’ve had for a while and people are moaning and saying it’s disjointed? Think we’ve gone about our business efficiently and hopefully we can grab an early 2nd half 2nd goal.

Terrible conditions but we have controlled that half well.

They only seem to look dangerous on corners probably because of the wind.

Another early goal in the second and we should have the game killed off.

Passing ponderous and poor, Bournemouth getting too much space out wide. Hope the pattern of better second halves continues. Still not keen on bobby behind salah

Goal was nothing special..just getting up quickly is the key. Gives these players a chance to do something, if it's slow slow pass pass Salah and the others come off the bit a tad...Fabinho get it and play it deep into their half.

Not saying we've been poor but it's been pretty laboured

Just got in from work. Pleased to see we are ahead. Saw last 10 mins and we looked ok. Looking forward to the second half, and hopefully a couple more goals 😁

If that's a tackle in that position to stop a player going on goal, it's a red. Not sure why a handball only makes it a yellow. Salah is clean through one on one with Begovic.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt - I think he’s decided NOT a clear goal opportunity   because Mo had run well offside.

Not sure that changes the INTENT though in which case.....
