Thought Univision / Telemundo was broadcasting only the Barca-Spurs game?

i am in the process of trying to figure out how to get B/R Live and only pay for 1 game instead of the monthly subscription.

They won't panic, and they will park the bus.

They MIGHT try and mob us early, and nick a goal, but they will very quickly retreat behind the bus.

I think we're going to need patience, and a solid base, and I'll stick with that.

They really aren't tgat suited to playing like this. This napoli is slightly different to the one under rafa and sarri but there is no chance of bus parking.

Carlo said he won't park the bus.

To be fair to Ancelotti, he doesn't set his team up to park the bus, does he? I don't recall a game where he has, or has he? I think his teams are more about controlling, using and winning the middle. Even re-watching our game vs Napoli, you can see how easily they played through our press , but also... they had some balls pressing us high up quite a fair bit.

I think that, if we show just a glimpse of our form in the Premier League, than we can easily beat Napoli at home, with at least 3-0 score.

People keep putting Shaq in midfield and against 75% of the dross in the EPL he will be fine.

But against the big boys he should play in his natural position or if chasing a game only then in midfield.

                    Alisson

      TAA  Van Dijk Matip Robbo

            Fabinho     Gini
                      Keita

           Salah             Shaqiri
                    Firmino

Honestly think that's our best xi right now since Gomez is injured. Shaqiri may have to drop back at times, but more to get passes than make challenges. When that happens Salah and Bobby can run forward.. it will force gaps in their defence.

Lovren for me will start if fit

Henderson didn’t start on Saturday because he is starting tomorrow

Shaqiri has started three games in a row and looked a little jaded and expect him to be on the bench

For me the one decision he will need to make will be

Fabinho or Gini - and I think he will go with Gini

Huge game really, yet my sights are set on Sunday. Offer me one to win it would be that one.

As it is it's not a choice so here's to a huge European night at Anfield.

There's no guarantee Henderson will start tomorrow. He might do, but there could be another reason he didn't play against Bournemouth. You raise a good point about Shaqiri, so probably Mane then.  There's not a lot in it between Lovren and Matip, but I'd go for Matip because they did well against Bournemouth and didn't Lovren partner VVD when we lost away? CB is an area we shouldn't change as often. It should be less intense than other areas of play.

In the biggest game of the season to date, i imagine Klopp will want his captain on the field, especially after being rested against AFC, which IMO was intentional to keep him fresh for this one.

I'd expect: Alisson; TAA, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Hendo, Gini, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Mane.

We can't expect to play Fabinho as a DM and play Hendo in the same side, or we will see Hendo keep passing the ball back to Fab. If Fab sits deep, we need more positive play from the other two, which is why I would go with Gini and Keita. C Backs have to be VVD and Matip, but only because they've played well together more recently. Full backs TAA and Robbo, and the front  three of Mo, Bob, and Mane.
Shaq and Danny could be decent subs late on, but I wouldn't try  go all defensive late on. Keep the press on till the final minute. Dropping back with an extra defender for a midfielder or striker has cost us so many times in the past. We must have learnt by now surely.

Also, they may just come out all guns firing and press us high, trying to get an early goal, which will mean we have to get three.
Difficult one to predict tactically, from them at least. Think we all know what we'll dish up. Heavy Metal Football.... BOOM !

Need a good crowd, like i'd expect anything else, and a bit of luck to go our way, and we'll get through this.
Remember at their place, we were undone by a late goal we never had time to respond to. They never looked any better than us throughout the game, and we were playing quite poorly on the whole back then.  Tomorrow will be a whole new different ball game.
I'm gonna go full on 3;0 to the RED MEN.

I’m happy as long as we play it smart... Just look back to the game between Chelsea & City this weekend; City forcing forward and Chelsea just cope with the preassure and waiting for the right moment to play over 7 men and score.

After halftime Chelsea just changed their game plan and totally owned majority of second half, impressive.

So I do hope Jürgen have a similar plan so when we leave the field we have qualified.

I don’t think Jürgen needs to copy anybody. He’s doing just fine.....
