i agree about rotation, but that looks more like a part of male anatomy than a viable formation.

That's a good point, 'cos we're gonna need some good penetration in this game.

Gutted about Matip being out, his passes are very penetrating.

They haven’t really given an update yet - he did go for a scan as he was in pain in the ankle

The one thing that Man Utd appear to look to do these days is pack the middle with numbers

They don’t appear to have any real width in the team - Utd used to be strong when they stretched the pitch with wingers

That’s why after a bit of thinking I see Klopp going for a 4-3-3 with Mane and Salah wide and Bobby in the middle. The back four depending on injuries but it could be

      Milner - Lovren - VVD - Robbo

It’s the midfield three that will be interesting

Henderson I think plays so then it will need a lot of pace and intensity with him so that’s Gini and Keita

      So my team will be

      Alisson

      Milner
      Lovren
      VVD
      Robbo

      Kieta
      Henderson
      Gini

      Salah
      Bobby
      Mane

With that form opening up won’t be a problem, ease ourselves at the start then work up the tempo & intensity towards the end..that should shaft them 😎

To be honest, don't care as much as I used to that it's Utd.
Just care that it's another 3 points. Another team we need to knock over.

They do have some width. Their best front 3 should be Martial,Lukaku and Rashford. Although JoMo doesn't play them together often enough to gel. If He had Sadio,Bob and Mo he'd have them upside down as well.

Sometimes United are very vulnerable to pacy counter attacks, so I would tell Mo to loiter with intent, the way he got in for his hat trick against B'Mouth. Could be close or we could over run them.

Forwards need to take care not to shoot too early, as that ruins everything. Although I suppose it's better than not shooting at all.

Shot on target is key, slip it in the gap & you score, make sure your covered at the back otherwise one slip & your in the sh*t..

Maureen will probably put Herrera on Keita-duty and definitely start with the Fellaini-Matic-Herrera axis, try to churn out a lifeless, listless and thrill-less 0-0

We have a box attacking front 3, if there is such a term. We don't shoot that much from outside the box. Nor do we have a midfield renowned for having great ball strikers. Gerrard is no more.

We go at defenders, scoring creative goals. Occasional strikes from 20 yards +, I mean I don't know the stats, but we probably craft team goals as much as City.
