Assuming he is still alive I wonder if Clyne might be fit enough to replace TAA

Probably won't have Clyne or TAA available, so Milner or Fabinho right back.

In which case I would prefer Fab as the RB bearing in mind he knows how to play the position and more importantly his height will be a bonus against Utd with their long punts cross field.

Klopp said it too hard to explain but it wasn't a pull or tear or anything like that

We have a box attacking front 3, if there is such a term. We don't shoot that much from outside the box. Nor do we have a midfield renowned for having great ball strikers. Gerrard is no more.

We go at defenders, scoring creative goals. Occasional strikes from 20 yards +, I mean I don't know the stats, but we probably craft team goals as much as City.

Umm, you need to trace back to my comment, the one I replied to and so on. It was a game of double entendres  a la the kind we would make at age 13. No criticism here of our attacking style.  :)

Agree with that,if you have midfielders chipping in with goals, makes such a massive difference,City have de bruyne, but i think Shaq would get a fair share of goals if he is given game time, should win on sunday, but got to be more clinical in front of goal than we was on tuesday

We will find out today in the presser Trent’s injury if it is a few weeks is a massive blow coinciding with the other two especially with what we have on the horizon , just have to get on with it ,

Not sure Fabinho can get up and down like Milner but good point about the aerial assault  we will face at some point. Suppose it comes down to who he wants in midfield more personally think Milner will play at FB and Fab to start in Midfield

Trent has been ruled out today as well.

Still plenty of options though, I’d go with:

      Alisson

      Milner
      Lovren
      Van Dijk
      Robertson

      Wijnaldum
      Henderson (c)
      Keita

      Salah
      Firmino
      Mane

      Subs:

      Mignolet
      Clyne
      Moreno
      Fabinho
      Shaqiri
      Sturridge
      Origi

      3-0 to us ⚽️

If he can do it for Brazil I’m sure he can do it for LFC.

Sounds like Trent is not going to make it.

Clyne has been in full training for 4 days. Klopp not sure if he's ready for 90 minutes.

If Clyne did not start this game it's crazy to put him in the substitutions.  I'd like Camacho in instead.

Still confident we will get three points,  COYR :scarf:

Has to be Milner surely if TAA out. Even if in full training, don't think Clyne's played enough minutes.

Except Klopp may prefer the same midfield three he started vs. Napoli, which would make the choice between Fab and Clyne at right back.

Oh I hope not, it worked against Napoli but I still don't like that trio in midfield, we need to be much more positive in our midfield against Manure.

Agreed; they'll come to stifle & hope to catch us on the break.  We need drive & momentum from the middle of the park.  Don't think Klopp trusts Shaq to start the bigger games, so think Keita should start with Gini & Milly/Fab.

We're due to do a number on these; let's not slip up against them again!!

I'm guessing Clyne will feature against Wolves, United might be a game early.

Has to be Milner at RB, he has a great engine, he will offer a threat going forwards and he's a tenacious bugger. Fabinho is too slow on the turn for my liking and the thought him one on one with Rashford or Martial is not a good one. Hopefully Lovren is fit to slot in alongside VVD and we should be alright. I think Keita will start and it wouldn't surprise me if Shaq does too. I never feel confident about this game no matter the form of the two sides. It's about time Klopp put one over Mourinho and his ale house game spoiling tactics so hopefully this Sunday is the day. They have struggled at the back this season so hopefully the spoiler tactics will not be enough for them. Just need to keep an eye on Rashford because he has been superb in recent weeks, I went to St Marys for their game with SAints the pother week and he was different class (and the only bit of class) for them.

Heart says we will win but my head says 0-0 bore draw.

I think we'll win 4-1. I'll put 3-0 as prediction on the league though, since I do that every game.

Tuesday wasn't positive?? Won possession and went forward most of the match.
