Tuesday wasn't positive?? Won possession and went forward most of the match.

It worked on Tuesday but most times that trio simply doesn't work, especially if teams come to park the bus.

Or play Fabinho who plays RB for that so so team known as Brasil! ;-)

If Milner was out, Fab would be my choice at RB, but not while Milner fit.  Would prefer to start with Keita anyway on Sun.
But Jürgen does like Hendo/Milner/Gini for the big games, so we'll see...

Milner certainly a decent choice at RB, a reliable player, who will always do the job required.

I am interested to see Klopp selection for the middle of the park with be, after such a big game mid-week you would have to think there will be one or two changes but who comes in and out will be interesting, As far as RB you would have to go Milner simply because of quality of opponent we are face, if Clyne is fit like Klopp has been saying I could see him getting run out vs Wolves/Newcastle while Trent is out. If we can get a goal early I believe we will win but this is going to be a tough match as Jose knows how to set his side up vs Klopp.

If I was going to line-up I would say you will see this

      ------------Alisson----------------
      Milner--Lovern----VvD----Robbo
      -----Ketia---Hendo----Gini-------
      Salah-------Firmino-------Mane--

If he can do it for Brazil I’m sure he can do it for LFC.

If he was doing it that well for Brazil do you not think he would RB for us even when TAA playing he plays Gomez

I am wondering how much threat they will have in midfield without Pogba? Might be a good idea to play Shaqiri for that extra attacking player with Wijnaldum and Fabinho in the middle.

Not sure they'll miss him that much as reckon they'll sort of bypass the middle anyway/do what they did before, play a land-of-the-giants game, long balls from the keeper/defence up to Fellani [pushing up to win them] or Lukaku, then have runners looking to pick up the knockdowns.
Caveman stuff, but it's been effective against us in the past - Maureen knows how to make sh*te out of a game.
But we've got VVD now, so hopefully can cope better. And if Lovren plays, maybe winning long balls might suit him better than quick passing round him.
Plus our front three are starting to motor.
Wouldn't say I was confident of a win, but if we can take more of the chances we make, would really be hoping for another 3 pts.

I never made reference to Milner or his national team did I ? You say that he should play there instead of Milner because of his Brazil games . Yet again I ask why has Fabinho not appeared there despite numerous opportunities that have opened up including mid week when Milner went there ?

Yep, It's winning those aerial battles in midfield that will be most important if Utd does play caveman football. I think we got done by them a few times last season in the Utd and Palace matches.

Might be a reason to start Fab [somewhere] cause he seems pretty good in the air.

Sorry but I’m not privy to Klopps thinking just like I have no idea why he picks Moreno or stuck so long with Mignolet.
But the fact that Fab is a converted RB might be a clue why I think he might be a better option than Milner

He was playing RB until the 14/15 season when the Monaco coached converted him to a DM.

I remember the match where Stevie slipped and we lost 0:2 to the Chavs, and the title. That w**ker was heard saying as he left the field, ‘they thought the clowns were coming’
Need to repay the b***ard big time for that.
I f**king hate him, his negative anti football tactics, and everything the slimy c**t stands for.
Let’s secure the 3 points, but blast the fuckers to bits if possible !

I think vs.  United we will only make changes where forced to, with some other squad players (Fab, Keita, Sturridge, Shaq)  getting starting XI nods in the following two matches (Wolves, Newcastle).

I would definitely plump for Milner at RB. Fabinho is still making his way. Milner can support the attack as well.

Shaqiri or Keita as the midfield support attacker. We don't want to get bogged down in some midfield battle. JoMo will try and stifle and stymie us. He won't have the confidence to go toe to toe. I can see him overloading the midfield.

Hendo holding, Gini bag man, Shaqiri on the prowl. Think the boss also has a decision to make over Bob. He is almost nuisance value, but he has to be more than a pest to defenders. If he plays he needs a performance.
