Oh my.  Henderson on the bench AND Van Dijk as captain?

Does it get much better than that?

Little bit of support for a lad, who always gives his best in a LFC shirt, wouldn't go amiss. He did very well against Napoli and is unlucky to not be in from the off.

Need to make Anfield a couldron, just to give the lads that extra lift.
Clyne will be a contender for motm.
Gonna need to break through s wall of busses today although I think Maureen may try the high press to surprise us and put us under presure early.
Which ever he tries I’m sure we’ll handle it and come away with 3 points.
Giving it large with the nerves now. Be glad when it’s over and we are back on top !

James Milner ruled out with a muscle injury so Nathaniel Clyne starts at right-back. His first PL appearance of the season

I hate this game its a game I just can't stomach to lose and its even worse with Maureen in charge. Surely we are just far too good now for a midfield table to come to Anfield with any size Bus and hope to thwart are magnificent attacking team.

Think it's a risk playing Fab.I would've gone with Hendo, Gini and Shaqiri. But still obviously trust in the Gaffa. They will sit in, target Mo. Not as confident as I was.

      6-0.

No Trent? Injured? I like Clyne but it's a big game back for him. He did well against Chelsea a few weeks ago though.

Surprised no Hendo, but we have a lot of options in midfield these days. I'd have played him, but I still fancy us to win this. COYR!

Was hoping for a Shaq and Milner start, but it's still a very strong side capable of beating Utd. Kinda worried about Clyne tbh.

Fab and Keita have never been in a cauldron like this. Normally wouldn't be bothered if it were just one of them in midfield with an old head like Hendo giving them advice, but both of them in the midfield? I dunno.
