Against a team that likes to bomb forward down the flanks, there’s no way in hell i’m playing Moreno. Sorry, I know he cops excessive criticism, but he’s still crap. He’s the one player Jürgen hasn’t kept in his rotation and he’s leaving on a free.

He can play against Newcastle where Robbo gets a rest.

Like they say no game is easy any more in the PL.

They have impressed and play very watchable football.

Treat them like any other team at the moment. With respect and no underestimating.

Treat them with respect Skip and then knock sh*te out of them,no slip ups just bring the 3 points back to Anfield.

Wolves have done reasonable well but I sense a hiding is heading their way.

8/15 for a Liverpool win is in fact generous. And 50/1 for 0-5...and 125/1 for a 0-6. We do get these hefty away wins from time to time. This could be one of those games. Generally don't bother with betting on the footie. Stick to the shares. But might just have a go.

Sorry  - but Migs and Moreno are two players who - if there is *any* alternative - I wouldn't play. Ever.

Moreno was much improved prior to getting injured and its only because Andy has done so well that he hasn't had more games .Here is a novel thought lets try and support our lads as soon as they put on the shirt.
If we can get cover of genuine quality right through the team it can only be a good thing

Sorry Walt there’s certain players that just don’t cut it as much as us fans want to protect our own , he’s a piss poor defender and is no where near good enough for this team we have finally moved on .

Wolves shouldn't be an issue. I can see it playing out similar to Bournmouth. They try to play a nice style of football, which you just can't do against us and come out the other side unscathed.

      2-0 nice and comfortable.

I agree, lets also remember that Citeh really should have beaten them, they had a bit of an off day but still totally dominated them in that game as I recall. If we play any where near our best performance then we win.

Would you also rest TAA and Robbo against Newcastle then?? Why on earth you'd play Moreno against one of the more attacking and creative teams in the league it utterly bizarre.
Strongest team for me, Wolves are a decent team and we need as strong a defence as we can have and that sure doesn't include Moreno

Matchday and a night match doesn't get much better than that and a chance to get a 4 point lead on City.
Tough match coming up but we know now if we are anywhere near our best we will find a way to win and that's all that matters tonight.

Near as full team as possible for this tricky away tie and then rest a few at home boxing day.

We've actually got a bit longer in between games than most teams this festive period (shame City also have similar rest times) so hopefully we get through it without too much damage.

Trent is injured if I’m not mistaken.  Robertson can use a rest.

Moreno being offensive minded can counteract Wolves bombing up his side.  They will need to defend a bit more.

Why rest? We had 5 days rest. To much rest isn't good between games, we'll get rusty. Moreno should be nowhere near this first 11 right now. Like others said, give Moreno Newcastle. Whoever thinks Wolves will be easy should stop pretending to watch football, they obviously don't even look at the league table.

Great to have the footy amid the Christmas mayhem.
Looking forward to the match now, have few things to do today, but hoping to watch it.
Whoever Jürgen puts out, hope they go out there and get the 3 points.

Sense a real determination from the players to stay unbeaten/win something this season, and imho VVD is a big part of that - surely has to be made captain eventually - fair play to Hendo for doing it, I'd have argued he was as good a candidate as any - until now. He's the real leader, regardless of who's wearing the band anyway.

I can’t wait to watch the match.

With all of this Christmas stuff going on.  5 kids.  3 sisters. 5 brother-in-laws. 2 sister-in -laws.

I can’t even count the nieces and nephews.  Actually i can.  It’s 14.

Wow.  We could have a full 11v11 match.  With subs😂😂😂

Maybe have the grandparents in the technical area.

Have my ex wife as the ref.  Her sister and her husband can be the sideline officials 😂😂😂

In saying we could give them a hiding is not really being disrespectful to Wolves. We could batter a lot of these teams away. Could've been 5 against B'Mouth and they were above Wolves a few weeks ago. The approach and attitude of the team is now fully in gear and it might turn out to be a struggle but I'm not ruling out giving them a damn good thrashing.
