Well played against good opposition since wolfs showed up with close to their strongest eleven. Kid got a bright future.

I think it’s fairly important to remember that the kid played with an out of position Fabinho. Think he would be even better alongside VVD like all our CBs.

      Motm for me.

Remember when you were 16 I cant believe this lad he was just superb tonight so confident we have to find a way to help these lads progress.. I know we got beat but I hope he enjoyed this experience.. Hope he has done his home work or maybe he will do it on the bus back to Liverpool

      Good effort lad.
Looked a lot more composed than most first half, and set up an attacking move brilliantly in the second.
Looking at the CB situation, he's going to need to repeat that performance a good few times for the first XI.

No way he is 16 playing like a seasoned pro already, the future is bright.

It would have been nice to stay in the Cup for him to get another appearance!

      Don't need the cup.

Promising debut for such a young lad in such a mature position but he's got years of loans and hard work ahead and all the pitfalls that can fell these young players.

      Good luck lad.

How he develops to become a first team regular must be a nightmare for the coaching staff. He is clearly talented enough now how do you get him through these next 3 or 4 years when he will still be only 20.

He should definitely be back up to TAA at RB until he develops physically to be a CB.

As good a senior debut as I've seen from a kid.

Very important match for the youngster, but will still need time to progress accordingly.

After that display I would say that he could probably start to play a few games here and there for us . Rooney started at more or less the same age didn't he?

Big difference Mate , Rooney was not a CB, any mistakes he made were less costly If we are uncatchable  the last two or three games start him by all means

If he gets any more starts it will be as a RB assuming we have no CB injury crisis.
He will be introduced slowly like Gomez.

He even played like a full back last night in the CB position.

He must have been thrilled to get his first game and he like the other two lads Camacho and Curtis Jones did really well.
At 16 he played in a position that really does require a great deal of experience as well as strength and he has neither yet but he still put in a great performance. The only good thing last night was to see our next generation doing so well in a difficult game

Compare his passing out from the back to Lovren hoofing it upfield.

He is RB isn't he? I agree that CB would be far too risky, but as RB against lesser opponents I'd give him a few minutes here and there.

Looked far too good to be a full-back.

Good debut. Not without errors, which is fine. Great to see our Academy is still doing the business.

Similar to TAA, when you have an aura of class about you it almost feels wasted in defence. Watching him move the ball past about 4 Wolves players was impressive.

I'm no coach though so F**k knows.

Yep, I can see him as a holding midfielder in a few years time.
