      My observations:

      1. Fabinho is a riddle: some real good scenes, some scenes where u wonder about his football skills, inconsistent weeks.
      2. Hendo  :-*, not a fan of his slow pace but today another solid act, can't b*tch about him.
      3. Keita , needs to get better, don't bring him in the big games coming up, rather Lallana who looks just better and hungrier.
      4. Defense was bend but don't break.
      5. Midfield and offense were alright, no Napoli comparison but did the job.
      6. We did the job, not more not less, next.

p.s. Alisson needs to stop his showboating with the ball.

Huge improvement 2nd half, and VVD MOTM!!!!!

I liked Hendo along side Fabinho and in a double 6, he has more freedom than playing as the sole 6, but still prefer Wijnaldum and Fabinho partnership for now.

Despite looking settled in the 2nd half, Lovren still worried me :( He needs to step it up next game!

Is right. But I wonder if we would see more from Gini than we would any of our other mids in more advanced positions, which would be an option to play Hendo instead of Gini with Fab.

Lovren was nervy all game, megged a couple of times and some sloppy passing. Wasn’t the best day at the office for our defence in general other Virgil. Robbo, Milner and Lovren could all easily have cost us a goal/penalty at one point or another. But luckily mistakes that went unpunished.

We all loved the fast paced, blow the opponents away as quick as possible football we played last season but must admit, I’m enjoying us see us play in a more controlled way and gradually picking off the opponents. We are creating just as many chances and getting more goals than earlier in the season. Whilst in the most part, being solid at the back. Little bit how City played last season, except they weren’t this strong in defence and goal. It’s a style of play that’s working well for us so far.

Second half was what champions do. Tighten it up, grab that second goal and see it out.

Coady is where he belongs just because he is a Liverpool Lad doesn't make him a better player he wouldn't get anywhere near this squad

I'll bet Coady will move on from Wolves. Bigger clubs will be looking at him and not necessarily from the Premier league. Nowt to do with him being a scouser. Just a quality player.

This is a good chance for us to make a real gap.

Tomorrow they play CP at home, but CP is one of the better teams in terms of skills, don't they?

I’ve come to grips with knowing Lovren can look exceptional one week and pure rubbish the next.  The difference this year is we haven’t  given away points the games he’s off......yet   I will breathe easier when Joe and Joel are fit.

Thing is Walt the guys just look unfazed..they confidently know they are better than most every other side and don't panic about anything anymore.

To me that's the mark of potential champions..go in get the job done, don't fuss over anything and carry on.

A brilliant performance, especially from Salah, who was the main difference between the clubs on the evening.

What I really liked was how Klopp changed tactics second half to take the ball away from them. And he did it without changing personnel too. Brillant managing.

Remember the days when folk said Klopp doesn't have a plan b? I might have been one of them.

I posted much earlier I have confidence because they seem to be able to find a way to get the win and they are doing this on the pitch not always from subs its a proper team and a proper squad

Hahahahaha. Woy will bend over and let City do whatever they want. At least 3-0 to City coming up tomorrow.

We can't rely on anyone to give City a game. Quite simply we have to win all our games (not easy of course).

Solid professional team performance against a tricky well organised tactically strong side.

We draw that game last season and lose it the season before.

That's the difference a top class spine makes to us now.

Virgil MOTM. Fabinho and Hendo close behind. Salah was threatening all night.

Sadio was sh*te. Naby showed signs of what he offers but hasn't quite figured out how to use his tools to best effect.

First of the big teams to win at the Molineux this season? Belter result.

Think it was Virgil...no Virgil and we concede...he is such a colossus. So calm. Think Gomez could long term get close to Virgil's quality. Come the end of the season and if bids came in for Lovren and Matip...be a close call..

Wouldn't say Sadio was sh*te tonight he's very hit and miss this season but he did put in a shift.

Keita still needs a few more games to adjust he hasn't played as regularly as Fabinho yet.

VVD, Hendo, Milly, Fab and Salah were all immense.
