Shaqiri will be in with Wijnaldum. No doubt Matip and Clyne will play too. Can't see us going with too many of the fringe players up front though.

Hendo in for Lallana and you could be right...

I feel Lallana deserves some more attention. You can see he wants to convince, he looks determined to make an impression. Talentwise I think he's superior to anyone in the midfield but Keita. Think back two years ago what force he was.

Don't take these lot lightly especially after the results today of city & Chelsea. Must win, don't care how. Of we just think we will win then it is recipe for disaster.

      This!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Salah benched in preparation for the Arsenal and City games.

Can’t see there being too much rotation but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Moreno, Shaqiri, Sturridge/Orgi all come into the side. With Robbo, Milly, Salah and maybe Mane dropping out.

Fabinho played very little for the first few months of the season so I can’t see him being in too much need for a rest. One of the perks we had with Robbo last season.

Alisson; Clyne, Lovren, VVD, Moreno; Hendo, Gini; Shaqiri, Lallana, Mane; Sturridge.

Risky of course when you look at what happened to City yesterday but I don't think we really have much of a choice with two intense games coming up.

Can’t be arsed who plays. We’re unbeaten whoever we’ve thrown out on the pitch.

Just come with the right attitude for 90 minutes and we’ll be fine.

Rafa will put up a team ready to stifle us but as we have found so many times now when you have 11 players who are man for man so much better than the opposition you just have to trust them  to find a way . As much as we can applaud or discuss tactics what we are seeing is players being brave and relying on their abilities and trusting in each other. No wonder Jürgen looks like Christmas started back in August

Newcastle will park it big-time so need creative players and people alive in the box as they will be that deep. Would play Clyne, Sturridge  and Shaqiri possibly Lallana  and have bench ready if required

I do think Shaqiri and Sturridge should start this one - Sturridge can do some damage at the edge of the box.

Robertson needs a rest and if we can't trust Moreno at home to Newcastle, then we can never trust him.

I expect this to be hard fought and not straight forward. Just get the job done. 2-0 Reds!!

I believe that this is the right starting 11 vs. Newcastle...

Bobby Looked as if he was suffering form flu vs. Wolves and has looked jaded prior to that, and Robbo did look in need of a rest vs. Wolves.

Keita ,Fabinho and Milner  more creative than the others so would have these 3 in midfield

Last night result of Mancity and Chelsea made me think bit different. I thought this maybe the greatest chance for us in two decades to win the Premier League title.  If it's me I will never take any unnecessary risk so we should only put in the strongest team in every game thinking it's most important game of the season. Throw away the players resting as only a week and 2 more games before the transfer window open.  We never know whether Mancity drop points again or not but now we have a clear four points lead so we should not take any risk.

Strongest team and win every F***ing games from now and lift the trophy in May!  COYMightyREDS :scarf:

                               Alisson
           Clyney  Lovren Virgil Robertson
               Hendo  Fabinho  Wijnaldom
                  Shaqiri  Sturridge Lallana

Subs; Migs, Trent, Milner,  Mane, Firmino, Salah, Origi

Rafa will have them well organised and try and stifle,
Pace is key here and a high press, if its slow and low we can be got at, dragged down to their level,

Shouldn't have too many problems if I'm honest with our back 5 coping with relative ease, rested Mo, Bobby & Sadio for obvious reasons, and should only be used for a run out,

Can't use Bertie,  not going to risk playing liability players,  might see Trent last 20 in preparation for Arse & Shitty,

Nothing but another 3pts and a another step towards the title.

      3-0 Champions Elect!!

                 Alisson
          TAA Lovren VVD Clyne
             Gini  Fab  Lallana
         Shaqiri Mo Bob

Mane has been a bit ropey recently, maybe rest might do him good.
Gini to come back in, Lallana possibly has done enough to get a place, Shaq too.
Bob was subbed off vs Wolves, so might see him, and Mo is playing so well would start him and then get him off once ahead.
No rest for the CBs until Matip/Gomez available again I guess, but probably should try rest Robbo, though Moreno gives me the heebee-jeebees.

Be nice to see Rafa back on the old sod.
4 points clear at the top - but am sure the lads won't be taking the foot of the gas, or looking ahead to Arsenal - need the 3 points here.

      Happy Christmas Jürgen!

You just can’t rest Salah - it’s almost a guarantee that he scores at home in these games.

Let him get a couple and take him off.
