Mane played well, but he was lucky to not get sent off. Since he didn't get a card I'm guessing ref didn't see it.

Yeah, at the time, I was thinking, had the ref seen that....

There's already been complaints to the FA regarding it.

      Shut it snowflake  ;)

If they look into it and he gets a ban, I think it will be 2-3 match ban as it would be considered violent conduct? Would also be interesting to see what Lichtsteiner actually did for Mane to react that sort of way.
it's more than normal violent conduct. I'd say that Strangulation is worse than biting. Suarez got 10 games for biting. There's no way he's starting against city now. 0% chance. FA have no choice to look into it since ref didn't act.

Shame Robbo was caught out of position on their goal. He’s been caught like that a few times in recent games but they went unpunished, think sooner or later we’d concede as a result. He wasn’t the only one not good enough in that moment of play, just one of the very few things he hasn’t been spot on with lately.

But it’s meaningless at the end of the day, the team responded brilliantly and got a convincing win.

      Great stuff

Looked at the replay again, probably will be 3 matches. Shaqiri will probably slot into the top if Mane is suspended.

Ref saw it didn't do anything about it and it was to use a popular phrase at the moment "soft"

i hope he doesn't. Walton is saying ref saw it, but it didn't show ref looking and no card so I'm not sure.

Edit: I would say Pogba did worse on Hendo last year, but I can't remember the outcome of that.

Spuds get beat and we whallop Arsenal. Results going our way recently.  Can we squeeze another game into December please :)
Didn't see the game, but delighted with the win - hard to stop looking at the PL table without a very big smile.

It was a typical Mané brainf*ck. He's that way. The same with his football skills: once in a while he just screws up but the package overall is still top of the worlds. So no biggie for me. But those sissies from FA might ban him, no doubt, 'cause they are passionate to serve a soul-less family-all-are-happy product. Not for me, I am fine even with things Souness did at Anfield when Bukarest was there, if you know what I mean. We will see...if worst case then Shaq is more than capable to jump in.

      Facht Numero Tres

Not only did Bobby deservedly get MOTM and a hat-trick ...he also covered more of the pitch than anyone else in the game.

      11.92 kms.

      What a player.

What happened to Mane in the lead up to that? My stream was all over the place so I missed it all.

The replay looks like a squeeze, not any strangulation. There is a big difference in what Mane did there.

Every chance Lichtdteiner gets done for the elbow that caused the retaliation, if it gets looked at at all. And anyone calling that response a strangulation is a moron of the highest degree.

Seems like you’re almost willing it to happen Rib.
I see people rip into you for some of your posts and I deliberately keep a distance from the slagging, but man, you do your best to antagonise people over issues, firstly I would expect from an Arse fan, and secondly, you don’t seem to have any issues with the elbow 🤷🏼‍♂️

Are you sure you actually support our team, and the individuals that represent us 😳 It seems not.

People giving out about Mane would have loved Rangers v Celtic earlier.

      Top of the League.
      10 points clear of City.

      Happy New Year, Reds.
