Gini, Hendo are nailed on to start due to their 'reduced' involvement in the Arse game. So, the 3rd slot is the one in question. Fab played 30mins vs Newcastle and the full game vs Arse. Jürgen suggested the vice captain is available for selection, which is probably why a lot here (myself included) think he'll start. Both Milly and Keita are coming back from minor injuries but Keita would definitely offer more penetration.

Could we could play a 4-4-2 diamond with Firmino as #10 and Hendo at the base, Keita and Gini as the runners, esp if City start with a back-3?! Whatever it is, I'm just not able to focus at work right now !!!
My worry with Fab and Keita right now is ball security with turnovers leading to lightning MNC counter strikes.

This is always a huge strategy fixture for the managers and Klopp chose to attack MNC last spring in the CL.
LFC has ramped up their press game in recent games and I expect the front line to cause MNC's back line all kinds of problems.
This is going to be an end to end classic

                Allison
      TAA Lovren VVD Robbo
        Gini Hendo Fabinho
           Mo Bob Mane

Finishing shift a bit early to see this one.
Shaq has been playing well - but for Shitty away, might not start. Though if he did, I'd not be worried.
They are the ones under pressure - we just go out and do our thing.
Need to watch DeBruyne, he can find gaps.
Looking forward to a cracking game :)

There's no point tuning into the game later folks...

Super computer predicts Man City vs Liverpool result… and reveals WHO will end up on top
Stats geeks at Football Web Pages have come up with a formula that works out the chances of each possible result in every game left this season in the Premier League.

There is a percentage likelihood of each match resulting in a 'home' win, a 'draw' or an 'away' win - predictions which are re-calculated after every goal is scored.

And the calculations say Manchester City and unbeaten Liverpool will draw 1–1 at the Etihad.

Couple of me mates are all chilled and relaxed and giving it the 'if we lose we're still top' chat. Will be a completely different story once the games has started! Working from home but have turned of SSN so I can actually concentrate. It's gonna be a hell of a game, have a feeling it's gonna be 2-2. Would happily take that!

I've looked over Christmas and New Year celebrations due to this fixture. Takes the cake this. Does it take the cup? The league?

No. As there is still a long way to go, yet. Will we win? I have high hopes. Depending on what system Pep implements against us, albeit what Klopp's formation and midfield looks like tonight... then I think we're still favourites to win the game.

We've done the one thing we were never able to do in December, maintain consistency, pick up the points when the rivals drop. We're in the driving seat now. And the lads are good enough.

They (City) are hungry for a victory. Ours is 29 years long. Let's do the job and party later on. Is it 8PM yet?

      Up the worthy reds.

yes it was from one presser, when Klopp was asked about new child from one of player, but can't remember which player was involved.

      it was clyne child:
Klopp asked if Clyne has gone home because his partner is having "another baby". "Another one? I don't know about another one. Maybe he doesn't too! But yes, he's gone home for 'the' baby. A boy, very proud, I exchanged messages with him over it."
