Also, looking at Man City's midfield, they pretty much have 1 CM playing, I wonder if we can exploit that like how we did vs PSG at home.

Feeling quite relaxed, at worst we'll be 4 points clear having already played City and Arsenal twice.

Had somebody told me we would go ten points clear of City if we beat them at the Etihad at the start of January i would have had them certified. Only Jürgen can make this a reality.

I'm thinking we win this 1-3 or 1-4. City have to win this game and that plays into our hands. My only concerns are these. Do we have the guile in midfield to move the ball forward quickly enough when we counter? Will City use Sane coming inside with Silva to target Lovren?

This isn't a title decider but for some strange reason it feels like it is to me.

Great to see Robbo in the side after those rumours swirling earlier this eve. Midfield three as many of us predicted, I do worry about ball retention without someone a bit more creative but hopefully Mane and Salah are on their game and we can isolate them one on one with their full-backs. They have really struggled with set pieces so some decent delivery and I fancy a VVD headed thumper if we can get delivery right.

Fancy us to win this. Should be a hell of a game. A draw would be ok to be honest, but let's go out to win it - get after them right from the kick off. Our intensity has been back at top level again over the last 5 or 6 games, so I think we will really go at them - and the last couple of seasons of head to heads shows they don't enjoy it when we do that. Pressure is on them too, so let's really pile it on.

Sane vs Trent is what I'm watching. That to me is their only place to exploit. Trent wins that battle and we should be able to have a pretty productive game against these.
