Make it 4222 and I reckon that's bang on.

Our line-up is fluid with those players so no worries!

      Back to work.

While they sleep, we grind. Another opportunity to go 7 points clear before City play on Monday.

The condundrum of who plays centre back, I'll bet that Henderson won't, instead it'll be Fabinho and VVD. Wouldn't risk Ki-Jana against Brighton personally, unless Klopp makes the call to throw him in. He was class against Wolves, though.

Mind games have already started from Brighton. Let's not F**k about and bang a few in early, momentum back in our favour with all the pressure on City again.

Whispering in their ears "4 points.... 4 points... 7 points clear." 👂

Just found the source, mid-afternoon Twitter scrolling in work and it's an article from This is Anfield.

      Apologies.

Had a dream we drew 5-5, after coming back from 5-2 down.

I dreamt I took a Math exam and turned in a blank paper. Then I checked my score and got an A. Then the professor, who was smoking hot, took me iinto her office and banged me.

I like my dream way better than yours.

Not if your maths teacher looked anything like the ones I had.

EDIT: ah she was hot. I need to drink coffee before I post.

We need to bounce back from 2 disappointing defeats in a row and I’m confident we’ll do it in style.

I’m not concerned about who starts alongside VVD, as typically in these games we are not under any real pressure at the back.

Going for a lovely 5-0 to start off our next unbeaten run.

I don't think motivation is going to be a problem for Brighton. Most players have had a break and its a chance to get the points on the board before City and lets not forget Spurs play....5-0 would be quite a statement though

The more I think of it, we have nothing to worry about here. the group that has lost one league game, a nail-biter by the hair of our collective chin at City,  will not struggle to beat Brighton. We might even be a bit more motivated than usual.

This is a really good football team we support.

Worth noting that Brighton are without their first-choice keeper, Mat Ryan, who’s away for international duty at the Asian Cup. Button played for only the 2nd time in the Premier League in his career in the 2-2 draw against West Ham.

exceptional team with an even more exceptional manager you only had to see how utterly desperate City were to beat us to realise how much they and the rest now fear us

Get back on the front foot, put out Shaq instead of Milner and make a statement we're not dicking around:

               Allison
      TAA Fabinho  VVD  Robbo
             Hendo Gini
      Shaq   Firmino    Mane
                Salah

Important game - we really need to get back to winning ways.
Put the pressure on Citeh [and Spuds] again.

Think we'll be well up for this one after 2 losses.

Wouldn’t mind seeing something like this. Keita was not at the races on Monday but that whole game was a shambles. Of course, Shaqiri has a good shout but would like someone like him on the bench if the game needs changing (which of course it won’t).

Not a bad wee side is Brighton,  on their day they can do some serious damage to anyone,  alas though, unfortunately for them, their facing a slightly wounded animal in this season's Champions Elect,  ie, f***in us,
We have a few problems at the back but even so, we should have enough wherewithal to deal with your Glen Murray's of this world,

Chris Hughton will have them well organised as usual but the onus is on them to come out and play, but will they ?

Can only see us winning,  we've had our blip so lets move on and re-ignite another winning streak.

      Is it?

Think they’ll be more than happy to frustrate us and see if we’re willing to go full throttle to break them down.

That doesn't seem to be how they set up though, they are a reasonably attacking team at home.

Yes it is, they are the home side, whether they do or not is up to them, hence me saying,  'will they,'

It won't matter how they play or set up, we'll be too good for them and should win fairly comfortably,

Fab at CB and Gini/Hendo in midfield if he’s fit. If not then probably Milly and Keita in front of Gini.

Either way I cannot see Jürgen naming Hoever to start here. He’d be asking a lot of a 16 year old right back to play 90 minutes against Glenn Murray.

Anyone naming a 16 year centre back for this is probably 16 themselves!
