Juventus will sell Argentine forward Paulo Dybala, 25, to help fund a 100m euro (£86.4m) move for Benfica's Portuguese forward Joao Felix, 19.

      https://www.football-italia.net/136925/juve-sell-dybala-raise-joao-felix-funds

Dybala is a great talent. Messi wanted Barca to sign him. The fact that Juve' are willing to sell him to fund the purchase of Joao Felix should make every team sit up and take notice.

Though he as not come out and said that he is interested in going to Juve' gives every other team hope, but you have to feel that Ronaldo is whispering in the kids ear...

Klopp has already said that he will not spend big this window. Well Jürgen if there is a player out there that would convince you to change your mind then this kid is it

16 goals in 37 games now for João Félix for Benfica. In 25 years following Portuguese football I can't remember another teenager making such an impact in his debut season.

João Félix at it again. Two assists and another terific goal tonight in Benfica's 4-2 win over Vitória Setúbal at the Luz. Lovely touch here as Félix celebrates his goal with the ballboy... who happens to be his brother.

Do we have any history of dealing with Jorge Mendes? I don’t think we do....although with Maureen no longer at Utd, Madrid needing to build a new team (do they have a spare €75M for a teenager?) and Barca already committed to De Jong for big money we could have a go at this boy. Could see Juve maybe trying for him if they have the money but that would maybe open up Dybala...

Edit - he is Fabinho’s agent

Saw him live again last night, one goal and two assists, once more one of the main difference makers in the league. 4 goals and 3 assists in the last 2 games.

This lad or Dybala would be fantastic signings or Hazard. Would love Hazard, such a fantastic tricky player.

Such a difficult skill that. The boy looks the real deal. Would be a dream to have him come in. I suspect they will milk every penny for this lad, but with the CL and PL run, we should have the money for this surely.

No idea why we have a thread for this, do we also have one for Messi, Hazard and Ronaldo, about as much chance of any of them coming to us as this kid.

Because there was an article saying we had made an offer for him and not been anything since to say whether that’s true or not.
Last I checked we weren’t being linked with Messi, Hazard and Ronaldo.

120mill Euros is his release clause. Probably go for about 70 - 80mill Euros IMO.

Guess It is about the money... It is O.K. to pay £59.00 for Keita and loan him back but not for a young talent like Joao Felix...?

Wrong. We didn’t loan Keita back. The transfer didn’t go through until summer 2018, until that point he was still a Leipzig player, we just had a contractual agreement to sign the player at a later date. We were pushing hard to sign Keita that summer but Leipzig were adamant he wasn’t going anywhere, there was no agreement for us to sign him that season to then loan him back. He wasn’t going anywhere that season. Why would we have pushed that hard to sign him, paid as much as we did and then loan him back? He arrived when he did because that was when Leipzig agreed to a departure, and that was only because a release clause was coming into play last summer, otherwise I’d put money on him probably still being there now.

We didn’t pay £59mil for Keita and loan him back - we got the deal sorted early and his transfer was to be completed at the end of the season

OK I stand corrected , we didn't loan him back technically, But we could still make the same sort of deal with Benfica as we did with Leipzig for Keita... That was the point i was making

No, there's no "technically" about it.
He was still their player until the end of that season.
We had an agreement to buy him, that's all.
