oh here we go a player has a good game playing for a relegation side and we need  to sign him. He isn't good enough for a top side end of story

Disagree I think a player like him would thrive under klopp ...pace power trickery he would be an asset.

No, I think he's sh*te. Simple as that. Full fitness Matip is sh*te, half fitness Matip is sh*te, no match fitness Matip is sh*te. I simply think he's sh*te. OK? Got it? Opinions. We all have them.

He had a good game today.

I wonder if the boss will dip into the transfer market now we've lost Fab (well, I assume we have). Perhaps a loan deal.

I think we need the helping hand

That was another gutty win though this one was different element compared to last weekend at Brighton, we needed our attacking trio to bail us out and they did with timely (little lucky as well) goals. Not a fan of Naby position, he just doesn't seem to work playing advanced attacking position. He at his best running from deep position with the ball centrally than out on the flank. Hoping Fabinho will be okay, 11 day rest should do a lot of the boys good and hope next couple weeks start getting some bodies back to have more set line-up going forward.

Well the amount of times our defence has bailed out our attack this season, I think they were due a return in the favour don't you?

Not every game this season were we going to have the defensive display we expect regardless of how outstanding they've been this season.

Accept that and you whining morons might enjoy this win a little bit more.

How can anyone whine over a win doesn't matter how now just that we do.

Tell you what, it's games like that which create character and give you bottle.

Hope this squad sticks together because they're growing mentally. You have to be mentally tough to win titles and we're getting there.

Business as usual on here I see. It reminds me of one side of my famiiy where everyone seems obligated to get together on certain holidays, but nobody really likes each other.

My MOTM is The Kop for willing the team forward like in the old days. Great fightback and I think we see (I do anyway) how much Gini means to the side. I was really hoping for Naby to make a big impact today but it didn't happen. I still hope Jürgen shows faith in him so he can gain confidence. Shaqiri a bit off the boil as well. Good timing for an 11-day break and the weather in Dubai looks better than it does on Merseyside (or in the midwestern USA).

Our team spirit is so good, and that was a big factor in overcoming some adversity today. Glad to see Matip back and despite a mistake he is still a major upgrade for us. Hoping for the best for Fabinho re the injury, but I didn't like his and Klopp's body language as they talked afterward. Hopefully I am misreading that.

      1st Half

Thought to slow and didn't pull the trigger enough against a keeper who hadn't played for a year caught on counter

      2nd Half

Much more Urgency Salah back in the goals and although defence dodgy with Matip and Milner not great

Keita went missing again for me much rather see him in the middle more

Like a scoreline we'd be used to seeing in years gone by but I couldn't give a F**k.

      Another 3 points.

      Another win.

      7 points clear again

      That'll do me.

Looking at our fixtures a couple of weeks ago, this one stuck out for me as one of the hardest ones we have left. To come through it, even with such a messy performance is a show of Champion material IMO. Last season City really struggled against Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Saints I think it was, they scored a winning goal past the 90th minute. But people soon forget them performances and think they had a flawless season. It doesn’t work like that though, there will always be games where you have to really dig deep and often they are the games that are forgotten about come the end of the season.
My mate messaged me saying we were lucky and it’s another game we’ve scraped a win...well, I bet if a scraped win vs Palace was on offer for City last month then they’d have bitten your hand off for it.

I’m expecting to see Milly get a lot of flak and hear the same old Clyne this Clyne that, when in truth Matip was utterly horrific all game and the first goal is on him IMO. The red card for Milly was unavoidable too, I can’t remember who it was but they played an under hit pass to nobody and then Bobby just let it roll past him, what Milly supposed to do? Let them pick up the loose ball and exploit the space? No chance, sometimes you have to take the hit when a team mate has stitched you up with a god awful pass.

Glad we have an 11 day break now, go into the next game with Trent, Gomez, Fab and Gini hopefully all fit and raring to go.

Exactly spot on Milner took for one team was way late but at least he put the team first shocking ball from Shaqiri I think . Joe, TAA and Gini back for Leicester for a crucial 3 game period

We really need another option at RB, I love Milner to bits and he's good going forwards but a real liability against pacy forwards. I would go for the RB of Palace, very good player, plus Zaha would be awesome in our team.

      Don't give a F**k about anything else.

We win as a team, we lose as a team, we draw as a team
Anyone having trouble with that really doesn't know much about football.
