Fabinho MOTM for me, his distribution is sickening from deep, always looking to play positively. Hendo not too far behind!

Just imagine if we had still been in the F.A. Cup right now  :lmao:

That is a real plus being out of that.

Great three points there.  Nice to know Man City have still got a game left against Palace.

      Phew!

To be honest, at half time if you'd told me it would be 4-3 to us at full time I'd have been F***ing delighted. Felt like we were staring down the barrell at half time.

Missed Gini's sensible, ball protecting play today and the makeshift defence made it difficult further.

Palace are a one trick wonder, namely get it to Zaha and he'll do the rest (ie everything), nothing subtle about their play (it's Hodgson after all) but he made the most of the makeshift defence we were playing today.

But the right team won today. The right football prevailed and the right result prevailed. No arguments will be had.

      sh*t happens.

      This is our sh*t.

2 years ago - a Benteke double  inflicted our last home defeat in the PL..........

We’ve lost one game in league this season.

      We own our sh*t........

That was full throttle all the way. If Palace are that good, why aren't they top 4? And how much is Zaha? Thinking...

      Missed the game.

I've been following the comments here to follow the score. Horrible experience that. Some of your posts were hard to follow.

Get in red men. So relieved to take the 3 pts.

But 3 goals conceded? Wow. Need Lovren..  :f_whistle:

Very poor finishing again, what the f**k is going on with that, poor touches as well, I think we'll lose this match, sorry to say it but Zaha and Townsend will keep attacking Milner, f**king hell he's slow these days!

60 points.  I've seen us have entire seasons and not reach that total.  Still got another 45 points to play for.

In a word to sum up that performance...pathetic. Start to finish we were miserable and that defending was comical, was like watching a BR team all over again. We had no control and panicked every time they crossed the half way line. We really got away with this one, there’s no denying it.

But I f**king love it!! At this point, couldn’t care less about the performance, I just want the points. Such a relief going into the rest of the weekend knowing that City have to win to keep up.

      Get in!!

Nice to be reminded of what an utterly atrocious fat f**k of a referee Jon Moss is as he showed once again today. Seriously, the sight of him having to slow down play and have a 'chat' to players just catch his breath back is the most embarrassing sight in British football.

The sight of him sweating makes him look like a perve in a porn store as well. Retire you daft moron.

Yep, he was a huge, huge, huge miss. His ball protection and game management was much needed. He is usually on the right side of midfield (double 6 or  midfield 3) and helping the right back out, and with him in the game, I think Zaha wouldn't have exploited the right side as much.

We showed character today. Too many bodies out injured and we still won. Mark of a  potential champion. Must be heart breaking for city. Fabs passes were world class. If we had a hazard or our very own Alonso providing the final passes and crosses to the front line, we will be unstopable.

      What a F***ing win!

All that matters at the end of the day is getting over the line.

Would prefer a boring 1-0 over that though, I'll have no hair left by the end of the season at this rate.

      ... and breathe.

End of the day, 3pts for us, 0pts for Palace.

Shouldn't ask for much more than that, but people will, and that's ok.

Top of the League, lovely, oh and the sh*te lost too.
